On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice dank pine note with a bit of grapefruit and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor is similar with grapefruit up front but mainly earthy pine notes with an earthy grain backing.
Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds lightly toasted bread, ripe orange. Moderately sweet, with some piney and earthy hops, rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Light rindy orange in the finish, with dry pine and more toasty bread. OK overall. jbruner (4688) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 18, 2015
Iíve had this several times but apparently never rated. Itís a solid west coast style IPA with a good malt backbone to cover the over the top hopping. jackl (8011) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2014

Tap at WW this weekend and a couple growlers in previous months. This is solid, but not one of my favorites from walt and co. A little too much resin going on, along with a light Belgian character that I sometimes get in their non-Belgian offerings. Maybe its that house yeast. I dunno. Donít get me wrong, this beer aint bad, but it would not be in my top 5 of IPAís Iíve had from WW so far. 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 10, 2014
Draft. Burnt peach and pineapple with a touch of onion / veggies. Pine resin becomes more pronounced as it warms and opens. Red apple, cherry and plum syrup fruitiness. Highly bitter with strong hop acids. Bubble gum dominates mid-palate. Coarse and astringent texture, off-dry malt. Zebra Stripe gum and astringent pine in the finish. No off-notes, itís not a poorly-made beer, just out of balance for me and doesnít present any hop aroma or flavor I enjoy. Malt is nice enough but a bit too lean resulting in the pine resin hop coarseness dominating.
