High Wycombe House Warming. Thanks to Wingman. Hazy deep gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, trace of dry cream. Light sweetish floral mid. Mild sherbetty candy fruits. Light finish, Interesting but probably not what was intended.
November 2016 - Bottle share at Theydon’s High Wycombe Tasting. Thanks Dave! As ’Wicklow Wolf American Amber’. Hazy dark amber orange brown, dense foamy off-white head leaves full lacing. Aroma is light and airy, a little woody and minty. Body is light, a little foamy with tingly carbonation. Taste is quite dry and almost bretty with a toffee sweetness, earthy and citrussy. Bottle shared at the hi wy cum. Tasting, 5/11/2016. A hazed caramel amber coloured pour with a a thin white head. Aroma is semi sweet toasted malts, piney malts, subdued, little piney wood. Flavour is composed of woody piney, toasted, raw malts, dirty piney needles. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation, little woody. Maybe a little oxidised.

Bottle at Colin’s. it pours lightly hazy amber with a medium white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, piney, resin, varnish, sticky, toffee and grass. The taste is crisp, dry, earthy, wood, resin, chewy malt, spicy, floral and soap with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Not the greatest.... dirty. Nose is light floral, melon, straw, biscuit, toffee.
Taste comprises light hop, straw, grains, biscuit, toffee.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

Light sweet flavour with notes of leaves, citric hops, more wood, damp hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more citric hops, lightly toasted grains. So so. Aromat średnio intensywny, delikatnie kwaskowaty, czerwone owoce. Piana dość wysoka, gęsta. Barwa bursztynowa, mętne. W smaku kwaskowate i to dość mocno jak na amber ale, można wyczuć śliwki, czerwone owoce. Goryczka dość niska, kwaskowata, taka winna cierpkość. Piwo nie do końca w stylu ale dość dobre.
