The most surprising Pilsner to me!
I´ve tested it years ago and was really astonished! A great, not to herbal, grassy and refreshing taste.
It´s a brother of "Jever" Pilsner. The only difference between both seems the very hard, dry ending of Jever. Wicküler got a soften, malty ending, which is more enjoyable to me.
Wicküler is priced 8,99 EUR for one case. The price-performance is FANTASTIC!
Wicküler = highly recommended Pilsner!! nybol (2200) - DENMARK - NOV 23, 2013
En helt almindelig pilsner, lys i smagen og en skarpe humlesmag. Ikke det helt store. blackisle (2577) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - NOV 7, 2013
Clear golden, frothy white head disappears quickly, some lacing, sweet malty nose, bread, grain, grass, slight sweetness, medium bitter, light to medium body, average carbonation, crisp bitter finish Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2013
Bottle: Served in a glass Stein:
Medium to bigger sized white foamy head on top of a clear yellow colored beer.
Aromas of skunk, herbs, hops, hint of malts, green plants, hints of corn and grass. Pretty much a green plant and herbal aroma.
Flavours of herbs, hops, grains, bitters, grass and hay, some green plant and light hint of green grainy tones, light dry and some green leaves.
Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, herbs, hay, some old flowers and hops and some floral grainy tones.
Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, low to medium body and a texture between watery and creamy. Rasmus40 (20633) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 24, 2013

Very clean golden body with small frothy off white head. Bit grainy, grassy and simple pale malts. Clean taste, light bitterness, bit metallic but overall not bad. Very light aftertaste, fairly dry but watery. Extremely ordinary, yet okay pils. (50cl bottle from Rewe supermarket) Bamsen78 (5400) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 22, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast with a subtle touch of paper. Botter, hoppy taste with a pronounced touch of paper and a mild note of yeast. High carbonation. Mildly bitter and cardboardlike finish. Acceptable but nothing special. SVD (1977) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2013
Bottle at home, this rating is more for my own list I have had this beer earlier this year before i started taking notes. What I remember: really soft in taste, very good beer if you have to drink it an entire evening. stevoj (5033) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 9, 2013
Fruity, lemony aroma hits you immediately after popping the cap. Very pale golden, with thick head, but spare, lazy carbonation. Taste is hops and malt. Finish is short and dry. A good, but not great pilsener. RuneStumo (2673) - Haugesund, NORWAY - JAN 27, 2013
27.01.2013. 0,33l Bottle. Flensburg. Very pale yellow colour with white head. Very nice dry grassy hops. Notes of malt that gives a rather thin malty body. Aftertaste is dry and crisd with refreshing dry fuinish. This is a very good dry bitter pils.
