3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft at World of Beer. Color was slightly amber with minimal head. Aroma was slight bourbon and oak. Taste is the same with just hints of oak and bourbon. Taste gets stronger was it warms. Beer worth trying.
On tap at Hunah Day. Pours a dark copper with smal beige head that lasts. The aroma is wood, bourbon, dark fruit. Medium body, vanilla, wood, roast, boozy finish, good. Lubiere (13905) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 16, 2016
A lightly hazed reddish copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, light bourbon barrel notes, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, light licorice and treacle, very nice and warming. Bottle at Cajun Café spring beer fest 2016. 22 ounce bottle thanks to dogbrick. The ber is a darker brown with a beige head of foam. The aroma has orange and lemons linit, but also has a roasty ashy character. The beer tastes mostly sweet, but that citrus sort of svens it out and makes for a juicy citrusy character. Big body and medium carbonation. youdictategood (467) - Florida, USA - JUL 11, 2015
Bottle to snifter. Dark amber pour, fairly cloudy, pencil-thin offwhite head that leaves a slight ring. Big hit of bourbon in the aroma, with some allspice and orange peel coming after. Taste has a strong vanilla/bourbon flavor with the orange and oak barrel coming in after. Really distinct flavors at first, but rounds out a bit better as it sits. Nice, boozy finish. fiulijn (20493) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 28, 2015

Cloudy dark amber color with small head. It’s a good, warming American Barley Wine, well malty, moderately hopped, moderately sweet, with mild alcohol perception, and quite strong vanilla bourbon character.
A good sipper.
A nice bourbon beer, we have had better, but this is tasty and belly-warming. Pours a cloudy Amber with a tan head. Smells of bourbon, Apple and cherries. Taste is mostly bourbon, with lots of cherries and some cucumber in the finish. Heavy finish. Had in the bottle. Tmoney99 (14479) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 13, 2015
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured hazy dark brown with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted malt and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted malt sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bourbon sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer exceeded my expectations. alexsdad06 (10400) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 2, 2015
22 oz. bottle shared with the group. Pours a clear deep amber color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, bourbon, vanilla, cherry, some citrus, boozy, all the flavors didn’t really play well together early, but this started to improve for me as it warmed, bourbon calmed down a bit and the other things came out a bit more. drsordr (2659) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - APR 1, 2015
Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pours hazy orange copper with thin ecru head. Nose caramel, toffee, dank, and earthy light spicy Bourbon and just a hint of citrus . Taste again similar to nose but not getting much of the fruit. Some stronger alcohol. . Bitterness comes off as astringent instead of pleasing. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JAN 24, 2015
Bottle. Brown pour with tan head. Bourbon oak, malt and sweet aromas. Flavors are similar again, not very drinkable.
