Smells good, looks good, mouthfeel is a touch oily, mediocre taste, just ok. It seems Widmer has been hastily putting out mediocrity the last year or two.

Appearance: deep amber, almost copper colour, very slightly hazy; very weak, thin foam, disappears quickly, but very few remains of it for long
Aroma: sweet, very, very malty; like Cherry Queen dessert (sour cherry in dark chocolate), a few of quince, strawberry, a little bit of wafer; raisin, lime tree flower, with thymus in the background; green pomace, very light roasted malt tone
Taste: a bit tart, dryish; pleasant bitterness
Palate: rather light, moderate carbonation, pleasantly medium closing
Overall: certainly one of the best beers I ever met, its rich and varied in aroma amazed me 19Oracolo78 (191) - ITALY - FEB 24, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2017 Birra colore ramato. Schiuma bianco sporco non troppo persistente. All?olfatto note fruttate arancia soprattutto.

A: Cloudy copper with a thin white head.
N: Orange, grapefruit, pineapple, toffee, earth, pine, and cracker.
T: Goodly sweet and lightly bitter.
M: Light body, crisp carbonation, no alcohol.
O: Tasty and fruity APA. Be easy enough to toss a few of these back. Reminds me of Boneyard Bone-a-fide a bit. SamP01 (668) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 12, 2015
A dark cloudy amber on the pour with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus and malt with mild citrus hops. Taste is sweet caramel malt, some mild citrus notes and hops bitterness. A medium body on the palate. good carbonation. Finish is on the sweeter side of the caramel malt flavor with some mild citrus fruity notes, and come citrus floral hops bitterness. Overall nothing really stand out, an ok drinking pale ale to try once. Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - NOV 28, 2015
Pours a finger of head on a hazy darker straw body.
The aroma is nice: grainy and a little honey.
The taste is on the verge of dank grapefruit, a little malt sweetness.
The texture is crisp.
A nice pale ale. sabb1o (6) - - NOV 20, 2015 does not count
