COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Broken Halo IPA is a beer produced in the spirit of traditional IPA products shipped from the UK to India in the late 1800s. The almost excessive amounts of Cascade and Columbus hops used in Broken Halo give it notable citrus and grapefruit aromas and flavors. The beer bitterness measures high but tastes smooth due to the full-bodied, Caramel malt sweetness. The finish is juicy, clean, and short lived. A devilishly bold, heavenly smooth India Pale Ale. malts: PALE, CARAMEL 10L & 20L,carapils hops: ALCHEMY, CASCADE, zeus

Originally rated on 7/12/08. A nice offering from Widmer bros. It poured a Light copper colored body with a decent head, fair lacing. Aroma was really nice hints of peach, apricot and a little piney. Good mouthfeel was good, it has a decent bitterness, Nice flavors of citrus, slightly sweet. Overall a pretty good beer thats worth a try. Price was good too.

On tap at Circle 7. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of fruity hops. The taste was of fruits, floral hops and malts. The finish was clean and hoppy with a nice bitter aftertaste. Nice.

This is a pretty decent IPA. Lots of citrus and grapefruit, but it is remarkably balanced and sessionable.

Bärnstensfärgad med mellanstort ljust skum! Mycket malt o inte speciellt mycket humle. Helt ok!

This is not a very hoppy IPA for a British styled IPA. It’s a hazy golden beer with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak and citrusy, not a lot maltiness. The flavour is weakly grapefruity, but not as strong as traditional British IPAs

Orange copper, foamy, lasting off white head. Citrus, orange, zest. Flavour is orange sweetness followed by grapefruit bitterness. Medium bodied, slightly fizzy carbonation. Nicely balanced finish.very pleasant.

Not a bad IPA. Full, citrus-y flavor with a sweet aroma. Aftertaste is quite pleasant.
