4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: NOV 29, 2009 Very surprised this one rates so low. I’m usually disappointed when I go out on a limb and try somethig new, but not this time. Very nice balanced IPA (I usually drink Stone exclusively) with a very nice grassy, hoppy kick and not too much malt. This one’s a pleasant surprise, and one I’m going sample regularly from here on due to the moderate 6% ABV and reasonable price - $7.99/6 vs. $9.99/6 for Stone.
I’ve since re-rated this one. The only kick I have against this one at all is that it’s a little weak in the knees at 6.0% for an IPA. For all other factors, I think this might be the best I’ve tried so far.
This is a FANTASTIC beer, and is ESPECIALLY well balanced for an IPA!
Originally rated on 7/12/08. A nice offering from Widmer bros. It poured a Light copper colored body with a decent head, fair lacing. Aroma was really nice hints of peach, apricot and a little piney. Good mouthfeel was good, it has a decent bitterness, Nice flavors of citrus, slightly sweet. Overall a pretty good beer thats worth a try. Price was good too. jandd1983 (4544) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - AUG 14, 2015
On tap at Circle 7. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of fruity hops. The taste was of fruits, floral hops and malts. The finish was clean and hoppy with a nice bitter aftertaste. Nice. slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2014
"pours the usual color, maybe a bit lighter than some. floral and citrusy nose. nice. smooth, thin feel with a decent citrusy slightly bitter taste. i’ve had better, but it’s nice enough."

This is a pretty decent IPA. Lots of citrus and grapefruit, but it is remarkably balanced and sessionable. alkolas510 (1468) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 24, 2013
Bärnstensfärgad med mellanstort ljust skum! Mycket malt o inte speciellt mycket humle. Helt ok!

This is not a very hoppy IPA for a British styled IPA. It’s a hazy golden beer with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak and citrusy, not a lot maltiness. The flavour is weakly grapefruity, but not as strong as traditional British IPAs ciaranc (1102) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 29, 2013
Orange copper, foamy, lasting off white head. Citrus, orange, zest. Flavour is orange sweetness followed by grapefruit bitterness. Medium bodied, slightly fizzy carbonation. Nicely balanced finish.very pleasant. el_guapo (28) - California, USA - MAY 14, 2013

Not a bad IPA. Full, citrus-y flavor with a sweet aroma. Aftertaste is quite pleasant. arventresca (567) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 10, 2012
