Draft. Pours a nice dark amber with about a finger of white head. Aroma of caramel, slight citrus and baking spices. Taste is about the same. Medium bitter and light sweet. Caramel, spices and citrus. Medium bodied with an almost thick texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I could drink this again.

Bottle. Pours a clear reddish-brown with a medium head. The aroma boasts a nice balance of citrus-pine hops and sweet malts. The flavor isnt nearly as good, though. The balance isnt really there, as the hops dont come through, and theres a soapy off-taste thats a bit off-putting. Bready finish. Hides its ABV well. Not awful, but I wouldnt seek it out again.

It is a beautiful golden brown in color with minimal fizzy head that didnt last long. Smells hoppy with a hint of something sweet. Tastes moderately hoppy not too overpowering, with a minimally sweet finish

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours copper with a slight head that settles as a thin layer. Aroma is discretely citrusy. Caramell and resiny bitterness dominate the taste. One of many american ales out of which nothing specific stands out to separate from the rest.

Not much head. Reddish brown. Tempting smell with caramel and fruit. Aromatic maltiness emphasized with generous amounts of hops and sugar. Still smooth and seductive.

Good Clear Red Color. The flavor starts with a surprisingly strong piney hop flavor before leading into the chocolate, fig, and caramel malt flavors; Funny because the initial smell leads one to believe that this is a Brown Ale as opposed to a Winter Warmer. An all around decent Winter Warmer from Widmer Brothers, but if want an even better offering of the same style from the same brewer, try out the Barrel Aged Brrrbon instead.
