on draft...poured a reddish color with no head at all...tried to get a good aroma but there wasnt much at all except a minimal sweet malt...the flavor was mediocre just that sweet maltiness, minimal hops no bitterness at all...smooth but i was good for one.

Clear amber with medium head. Aroma of melon and cinnamon. Fruuity, slightly sweet taste with moderate but nice bitterness.

Pours clear amber with white head. Aroma of barnyard, earth, caramel and ripe fruit. Sweetish taste with a very floral finish, only a hint of bitterness. Nice, but a bit odd. Can't put my finger on exactly what the sweetness resembles. Body is light to medium, somewhat creamy, but with a lively heavy carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep reddish brown color; nice looking tan head just after the pour and long lacing down the glass, though the head doesn’t persist long. Deep malty aroma, a bit bready and light notes of caramel and maybe roast; floral hops. Flavor is a little lacking in depth; lightly malty but just a tad too heavy on the hops. Medium body; not quite silky carbonation but smooth; lightly sticky on the lips. Good beer overall; doesn’t clearly show the 7% abv; bit heavy on the hops.

Very light aroma with a floral hoppy palette. Not bad at all but not the best winter ale I’ve had. Good for warming the cockles on those cold damp evenings, well worth a gargle if you haven’t tried it already.

Fargen er superklar rødbrun, og skummet moderat. Aroma av karamell og tørket frukt, litt friskt gress. Smaken er under middels fyldig, med mye røde bær og karamell, noe grapefrukt. Ganske tørr avslutning.

Six pack from Harris Teeter in Huntersville, NC. Bottles. Starts with an aroma of hops and some malt. Deep amber in color with tan head. Nice mixture of citrus hops up front followed by some slightly sweet malt, spices, banana and a hint of caramel. Finishes slightly bitter but clean. Fantastic

12 ounce bottle. Bright amber orange color. Medium-sized beige head. Spruce hop aroma. Toasted malt flavor is balanced by a spicy grapefruit hoppiness with notes of black pepper and mace. Crisp, dry hoppy finish.

Appearance has a light brown amber with a thin head, but good lace. Smell of bold hops, pine and citrus. Taste has a good upfront piney hoppiness, grapefruit, spice and malt. Mouthfeel is smooth and slick going down with just the right amount of carbonation. though the ABV is not evident in taste, it is a bold drinker, one that the palate warms up to.

thomat (3863) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 26, 2012
Amber with a medium tan head. Fruity and hoppy tones. Malt, fruit and hops. Medium to full body with a bitter finish. ( seasonal IPA ? )
