Pours copper colored with soapy flat head, Smell has spicy malts and some fruity and floral hops. Starts with spicy malts, some floral hops and some herbal notes. Goes into herbal-hoppy finish.
(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet cara-malty aroma with notes of biscuits and a touch of herbal and woody hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Slim cara-maslty base with delicately bready and biscuity accents; sweet and mildly bitter finish with woody and slightly herbal hops. Just okay. 15.VII.13 alobar (3912) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2013
Pours clear copper color with a white soapy head. Aroma of caramel and some hops. Caramel, bread, and hint of hops flavor. Smooth. Decent beer. NikkTwist (3341) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Draft at Moriartys in Philly. Nice looking copper pour with a lasting off-white head. Hops and malt playing nicely together. Spicy and dry with some medium red fruit. Red plums. Dragonfruit. Vanilla extract. Celery seed. Cinnamon. Tangerine peels. Sugared ginger. Black pepper. Clean, crisp and juicy but thankfully very dry brew. Feels fuller and more potent than the billed ABV suggests. Better than expected. hotstuff (5257) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 1, 2008
Draft at Widmer Brothers BC, Portland, OR. Ivory head that was mostly lasting, next to no lacing, no carbonation observed, transparent, and an orange hue. Nose was malty, hoppy and some caramel notes. Flavor was bitter, malty, hoppy, and some caramel. Smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium body. Quaffable brew and worthy of a try.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated copper colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy malty and dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and caramel. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 17, 2007
On draught at the Widmer brewpub in downtown Portland. Sampled during ABA Beer Tour 07. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of caramel malt, tropical fruit and some flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, very lightly carbonated with flavors of light caramel malt, pitted fruit, some peach and a touch of citrus. Finish is light, crisp with a dry citrus aftertaste.
