Bottle serverd in a shaker. Pours watery gold with a thin head. Bright, light pineapple and mandarin orange citrus aromatics. Light body, creamy-thin texture, and a dry finish. Refreshing hot weather session ale. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - OCT 7, 2011
Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Citrus and light tropical fruit flavor with grain. Lighter bodied. Citrus and light tropical fruit lingers with grain. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - OCT 1, 2011
(sample from bottle at Fete at the Fort) slightly hazy yellow gold with white head. Citra hops aroma. Flavor is light malt, citrus hops. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Near clear golden pour with fair offwhite head and some minimal sticky lacing. Nose is lightly citrus lemongrass. Flavor is somewhat sweet and more light citrus hopping. Very well balanced. Hop flavor without the bitterness. Thirst quenching and extremely palatable. This might be one of the best session light colored beers I’ve had! and i’m pretty sure a bmc drinker would be down for this as well. It’s quite an accomplishment to make an craft brew that is both accessible to the masses and appreciated by connoisseurs alike! great job! Rusty (1547) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - SEP 25, 2011
Pours a light golden color with a white head. Aroma is citra hops, malt, water. Flavor is light juicy citra hops, water, malt. Easy to drink, and refreshing. Widmer has been putting out some decent beers lately, this is not one of them....... but it’s not nearly as boring as their hefe and regular lineup.

Aroma: The aroma is citrus/lemon and some light grassy hop
Appearance: It pours a completely clear yellow-gold color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is mildly sweet, with light malt, and a light hop presence as well
Palate: The body is fairly light and clean, with a smooth mouthfeel, and a rather high drinkability
Interesting, exactly 100 people have rather this one before me (well, really, not that interesting). Overall, this is a pretty solid blonde. I’m not a huge fan of the style, but this one works alright. It isn’t particularly interesting, but it is clean, and smooth, and it drinks nicely. I couldn’t find too much fault in this one.
Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is lightly citrusy but very subdued. Flavor has a bit of citrus...orange, lemon...hint of spice and straw. Mouthfeel is lively but watery with a dry earthy/spicy finish. A bit bland and boring... Arayaga2 (2197) - portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 15, 2011
Slightly hazy with a bit of white head. Aroma is Pineapple citrus and passionfruit. Taste is the same, but this beer is somewhat lacking in malt flavors. It would be great if they put in the standard amount, but I suppose this was designed to showcase the hops.$2/12oz Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 14, 2011
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy gold with a large, loose head of white foam. The nose has some overripe grapefruit and apricot going on. The flavor has a little peach and citrus with a touch of grain. Thin and refreshing on the palate. I can see this being a summer picnic brew. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - SEP 13, 2011
12 oz. bottle from Total Wine - Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Very light lacing. Aroma and flavor is basically citrus. Medium body. A one dimensional beer, but a very nice session beer.
