Benzai (16500) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 22, 2013
Bottle @ weekly tasting thanks to Ansjelaah. Clear orange color, no head at all. Smell lightly malts maybe a touch of sweetness. Taste is hard to describe, cause there’s virtually no flavor at all. No idea what to say about this flavor wise.

coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Bottle. Pours deep gold with a largish off-white pillowy head. Aroma and flavor are bready, malty, moderately sweet, mildly hoppy, slightly grassy and spicy. Nice rounded lager character. Quite fresh and decidedly springy. Liked this more than I thought I would!

5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle:   Amber, clear, moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Faint toasted malt and whole wheat bready aroma.   Very bready on the tongue, not heavy, lots of whole wheat, a little nutty, slightly mealy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft toasted malt finish, lingering whole wheat and nutty notes.   Pretty pedestrian.   Nothing off, but sometimes a little too bready.   Prefer Anchor Steam as it seems a bit hoppier.

Idiosynkrasie (7834) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 8, 2013
355ml bottle. Clear amber colour with small, frothy, fading, off-white head. Expressionless caramel malty aroma with unspecific fruity touch. Taste is alike with additional, minimally soapy hoppy overtones, a touch of mint. Nothing the world was waiting for.

TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2013
355 mL bottle. Nice amber colour with a short-lived, off-white head. Smells malty in a boring way. Doesn’t really taste like much at all. Very light and airy. Not unpleasant, but not particularly interesting, either. What do I know? Maybe it’s the style.

BroSpud (2233) - , Massachusetts, USA - AUG 2, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours a light clear amber with a white head. Caramel and metallic notes. Tastes more macro than craft. Expected more from a Portland based brewery. Meh

JStax (7123) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 28, 2013
12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a translucent amber with a spritzy head of beige foam. Aroma has sweet, fruit forward notes with a softer toffee malt backbone. Taste is more sweet than anything else. It’s fairly balanced overall and for the style, its about what I would expect.

mile (4032) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 24, 2013
