DuffMan (10435) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle. Medium amber colour, clear and bright, with an average white head. Aroma and flavour are grainy and fruity, light but with a firm mouthfeel from the crisp carbonation. More of a dark lager really. Not bad.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2013
It’s dark golden with a creamy head. The aroma is mild with light hoppy notes of light fruit, grass and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and a light spicy bitterness growing more dry towards the finis. The notes are fruit, grass and light yeast, and towards the finish a touch of tea.

Tap at Penn social in DC. Clear amber. Weak to near no head. Nose is sugar, toffee, caramel popcorn. Taste is very metallic, harsh tinny flavor, some tannic bitterness. Astringent, chemical palate. Yuck.

arminjewell (9675) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange pour with white head that lasts relatively well. Aroma brought notes of grass, slight cracker, biscuit, hints of lemon, vanilla, hints of honey, pretty mild but lots in there. Taste is a mix of grass, cracker, biscuit, slight earth, honey notes, finishing slightly bitter, dry. Not overly complex, but drinkable with no big off flavors.

12oz bottle, from Party Source. Bottled 12/19/12. Clear amber color. Thin off-white head. Good spread of lace. Lighter body. Good smooth carbonation, easy-drinking - especially nice to wash some food down with. Little fruity hop flavor. Little toasty malt, some caramel malt. It’s still a little difficult for me to pin down the flavor profile of the California Common, but this tastes like what you’d expect from a lighter version of the style. More bitter, little sweet. Solid, interesting stuff. Creative choice for a spring seasonal.

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 12, 2013
bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty with a pleasant sweetness, quite light, and elegant hop flavours that add a spicy grassy touch.

3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 14, 2013
bottle. clear amber body with a small white head, quickly diminishing but with lasting lacing. starchy oat and rye bread and seedy malt and raw wort aroma with notes of DMS , corn, sulfur, dirty dishrag, dried peach and apricot esters and vegetable-stew American hops. medium-light body, light sweetness, medium bitterness. very sourish malt with a starchy and husky graininess and raw celery and cooked leafy greens. I don’t see how this sort of beer would be appealing to people.

2.7
blipp (9284) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy, lighter earthy notes, and a little bit of straw. Decent.
