355 ml bottle. Pours a copper colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of orange zest, some floral notes and grass. Flavour of smooth bready malts, grassy bitterness, some minerals and orange. Some metallic notes. Light bodied and soft carbonation with thin mouthfeel. Not good.

12oz bottle from The Grapevine
Appearance: Clear golden with a small white head and good lacing
Aroma: Doughy, citrus, caramel and herbal
Taste: Toasted malts, biscuity, citrus, herbal with some bitterness in the finish
This was OK, but I didn’t like it. It did get better as it warmed up.

Ernest (7786) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 16, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (orange/tangerine, grapefruit, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Light and simple aroma, but it’s pleasant enough. Good quaffing balance. Overall better than usual for this brewery.

JStax (7123) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 28, 2013
12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a translucent amber with a spritzy head of beige foam. Aroma has sweet, fruit forward notes with a softer toffee malt backbone. Taste is more sweet than anything else. It’s fairly balanced overall and for the style, its about what I would expect.

ajnepple (6960) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 8, 2013
12 oz bottle. Amber and clear with an off-white head, patchy lacing and active carbonation. Rich, malty aroma with caramel, hops, cocoa and light fruits (banana). Light fluffy body with a soft feel. Medium malt sweetness with light bitter hops and light fruits. Smooth and pretty tasty for a lager.

Bottle:   Amber, clear, moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Faint toasted malt and whole wheat bready aroma.   Very bready on the tongue, not heavy, lots of whole wheat, a little nutty, slightly mealy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft toasted malt finish, lingering whole wheat and nutty notes.   Pretty pedestrian.   Nothing off, but sometimes a little too bready.   Prefer Anchor Steam as it seems a bit hoppier.

Braudog (6803) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Bottle. Pretty amber beer, pleasantly active, with a nice pillowy head of off-white foam. The initial aroma is nice and woodsy, like a wet summer in the Pacific northwest. But this drinks with a more subdued earthy tone, more of a wet grassiness, tinged with a bit of almost smoky funk. (#5012, 5/9/2013)
