Bottle: Red copper color with an off-white head. The aroma reminded me of a Christmas tree lot. The flavors are hoppy resembling a bitter grapefruit rind. The carbonation is lively followed by a mild malt aftertaste. Let it warm up a bit or you will experience an unpleasnat metallic aftertaste. padrefan98 (854) - (San Diego) Santee, California, USA - APR 12, 2007
12 oz bottle thanks to Jake65. Poured a golden brown with a small quickly dissapating head. Spotty lacing, good hop flavor with citrus and hops present throughout. More hops then malt but a good balance. SDbruboy (1863) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 10, 2007
12 oz. bottle, from Fred Meyer, Newberg, OR. Pours deep, clear copper color with a thin beige head. Nice, fresh hoppy aroma - floral, orange and spruce with fruity and light caramely malts. Flavor is also hop dominant, with toasty malts to balance the citrus, pine and fresh bitter herb notes - though oddly, I seem to get a bit of wateriness in the finish. Medium body and tingly carbonation. Crisp and enjoyable, though short of outstanding. 1FastSTi (3358) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - APR 10, 2007
Thanks Jason. The beer pours to an orange body with a wispy white head. The aroma is quite hoppy with notes of pine, oranges, sweet Vidalia onion, grapefruit. The flavor is extremely toasted. Granola and barley. Light hops. I love how crisp and grainy this beer is. The beer is smooth, slick, and very easy drinking. I’d buy this if it were available around here. Bottle shared by Jason. Clear amber body under a tight foamy tan head. Zippy pine needle and bright citrus aroma. The flavor primarily has gentle bitter weed stem and pine sap hopping over a non-sweet, toasty malt base. Assertive but soft bitterness, this is aided by the low carbonation level. A very nice pale ale.

Slightly hazy red/amber body, off-white head. Nice fresh hop aroma. Some dry yeasty crackers too. Flavor is a little more subdued as far as hops are concerned. Most toasty dark wheaty crackers. Pretty basic but decent pale ale. Yeah... actually, definitely well-made. Saarlander (1920) - Saarlouis, GERMANY - APR 6, 2007
Nice copper color, Fruity hop aroma, lots of fruit flavor, citrus, peach. Somewhat sweet on the lips, easy drinking, ok brew. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 5, 2007
Bottle... Poured an amber color with fluffy white head that dithered fast. Hoppy, Piney aroma. Flavors of hops, malt and a nice tea leaf or ginger/ginseng presence which seperates it from a lot of Pale Ales. Wouldn’t buy this one again, but it was definitely more than I expected. gunnfryd (15483) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 30, 2007
Bottle. Golden colour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet grapefruit, citrus, malt. Exciting aroma. Flavour is grapefruit, malt. Unique flavour, but not my favourite beer. Treephiend (58) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 28, 2007
Pours clear red-orange with amost no head. The aroma is citriusy, piney and smells quite a bit like cannibus actually. The flavor is more fruity than bitter, some cool hops are goin on in this brew.
