I can’t find this anymore. My favorite location stopped serving it long time ago. kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2009 This beer, no this beer, is full-on copper and an off-white head that lasts. Very impressive out of the shoot. Summit hops undoubtedly dominate the aroma, which is just ourageous and delicious. The flavor is mild but keeps a hold with the hops. The finish is undeniable grapefruit from the wonderful yeast strain they have found to brew this. This beer doesn’t suck. Even better, Widmer, A-B, and Brown guys bought mine. Rating does not reflect free beer, rather this beer is good on its own. This beer is the best tasting beer for the money and a good value overall. leorod1 (1) - , USA - JUN 7, 2010 does not count
This haas quickly become one of my personal favs. if theres such a thing as a sweet or "fruity" smelling beer this is it.great tasting just awesome overall! kereltis (33) - Oregon, USA - FEB 1, 2013
Beautiful strong floral, hoppy aroma. Clear appearance and despite the strong aroma the hops really don’t kick you in the head, perfect level of hops for a pale ale. Well worth a gargle if you haven’t tried it yet! RickRob925 (60) - Macclenny, Florida, USA - OCT 15, 2010
This is the best beer i have ever had as of right now. It has a great sweet aroma, and a good dark look in a frost mug. Taste is full of grapefruit which is what makes it so great. I acually could not stop drinking this beer and ended up kinda under the influence afterwards.

Pours clear amber with fluffy white head. Smells hoppy and malty, like citrus and almost caramel. Tastes bitter from hops and well malted. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture and little mouth-carbonation, Widmer Brothers Drifter Pale Ale finishes sweet and malty with slight bitter dryness at the very end. trveboozer (3) - The Desert, Arizona, USA - APR 10, 2017 does not count
Great Summer beer, hoppy with a light citrus aftertaste. Doesn’t disappoint, perfect on any day. yesyouam (1016) - Fairport, New York, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Widmer Brothers Drifter Pale Ale is a very clear, sparkling, amber ale with a soft, thin, off white head that leaves nice lacing. It has a fresh hop aroma, like pine trees, sweet caramel and a light toastiness. It’s pretty light bodied and very smooth with a clean, dry finish. It has a lightly bitter, grassy, floral flavor. It tastes very tea like; very herbal. It’s very refreshing. It’s clean, but not weak. It’s very drinkable. Scarecro (18) - USA - JAN 30, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2007 poured a rich red color with thin head. The piney citrus smell and taste make every drink of this beer supreme. Must try for anyone who can get ahold of it. Everything i wanted broken halo to be. cantona7 (6) - federal way, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2007 does not count
