Bottle: A creamy, flavorful Amber that’s smooth and easy to drink. Drop Top is fermented by an American Ale yeast to produce beer with a clean flavor and fruity aroma. The velvet texture is from the use of Honey malt and a touch of milk sugar. The Magnum bittering hops provide soft bitterness, while Simcoe, a newly developed hop variety, adds unique hop flavor and aroma. notalush (5909) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - DEC 23, 2012
My wife bought this - I’m not sure why - but it’s in the house, so I guess I’ll rate it - clear dark copper - creamy, well-sustained head - nose of lightly floral hops, light caramel sweetness, a bit of biscuity malt - light body - creamy texture - nothing offensive here, but pretty darn boring - some toasted grain, some bready malt - lightly estery on the tail end, with mildly peppery hops - bland, but drinkable. douglas88 (9569) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 16, 2012
12 ounce bottle at the Beerhive. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. No nose, I mean you’d have to struggle with olfactory greatness to achieve much. Light apricots, biscuit, watery, nothing offensive and very light. MikeJslc (778) - Alabama, USA - DEC 14, 2012
Gold, clear, white head. No detectable aroma. Flavor is neutral malt with some crystal malt sweetness, finish is on sweet side.

Nice easy drinking amber. Clean Flavor with slight sweetness. Very little hop presence. Enough for bittering and some help towards aroma but the honey malt and milk sugar stand out. A general go to when wanting something pleasant to drink.

This ale poured a med amber colour with a big, frothy, off white head. No lacing. To the nose there are scents of gravy, malt and light caramel. First sip was smooth but a little watery with nothing really strong in its flavour but malt and very minute amount of hops. Finish is watery and lifeless but drinkable. Just nothing special. reebtogi (6341) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 30, 2012
355ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a small white head that leves little lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and cereal grains with some grassy and citrusy hop bitterness. Taste is light citrus and grassy hop bitterness with and underlying grainy malty sweetness. Light bodied and moderately carbonated. A good sessionable beer. cgmees (33) - Texas, USA - APR 21, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a thin off-white head that fades and leaves very little lace. The aroma is mild malt with some leafy hops in the nose as well. The flavor is light with a refreshing tang. Not bad as a basic beer but not really notable. boisebeer (57) - boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 31, 2012
nice beer that is always easy to find here in boise. smooth with out over powering. Somewhat of a classic brown which is my favorite style. duaneh (100) - - MAR 16, 2012
Golden amber, with a clean white head. The aroma is of caramelized malt, tea and a faint touch of hops. The taste is very malty with flavors of sweet caramel, spicy tea and a touch of fruit. A bit of sticky finish.
