Cloudy beer. Tastes citrusy and refreshing. Not a very full-bodied beer, but that’s what makes it refreshing. I like it. Mangino (1027) - Mississippi, USA - OCT 22, 2004
Pours a hazy "electric" yellow, small head. Aroma of burnt wood, wheat and hops. Flavor is hops and bitter, lemon and a little malt. Palate is appeased for the style, and is a nice brew overall, a great summer brew!. Thanks to Indiana Red for this one! MrBeer (276) - Erie, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 21, 2004
Very enjoyable. Had great taste to it and I loved the aftertaste as well. Fruity aroma to it as well. Overall I thought that this was a good Hefeweizen. IPFreely (1470) - Sanborn, New York, USA - OCT 13, 2004
Cloudy golden, fuller white head. Light banana aroma, a bit of clove. Some wheat in the flavor, banana again, and a bit of lemon. Smoother medium body, but a tiny bit astringent. Not bad but it pale in comparison to its German cousins. BrockLanders (780) - Panama City, Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2004
On tap at Beef O’Bradys in Lynn Haven, FL. Well folks, other than Red Hood IPA, this is the pinnacle of available "craft brews" in Panama City. No wonder I want to open my own place. This stuff is ok, but to think this is as good as it gets makes me want to heave. The pour offers a small white head that quickly fades. Hazy gold with the white glow of the yeast in suspension. Lightly citrusy, yeasty, wheat-grainy nose. Med/light body.Yeasty, light malt flavors, with maybe a hint of fruit...maybe bananas?. The mouthfeel is very thin. They throw a slice of orange or lemon in which doesn’t help things at all. Finish is dry...yep, that’s about it. Well, I guess you could do worse.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2005 Pours out hazy yellow color with a head. Nice citcus aroma. Kinda light, nice citcus flavor. Sweet finish from malt. Not bad. Go great with pizza. mstockton (225) - Frankfurt, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2004
I was a bit disappointed by this. I thought that it was rather light and did not have the nice, sweet and spicy taste that I like in a good wheat beer. Ok, but lacking some grunt. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - OCT 5, 2004
Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is light giving off a hint of lemon. Taste is not as complex as the German Hefes, there was not much spiciness or clove notes. Pretty sweet with flavors of banana, wheat and lemon. A little bland. The mouthfeel was full and round. Not bad by any means but it needs more. Eh. Hazy and gold. Not much head at all. Not much aroma either. Smells like wood. Not a lot of flavor or bitterness. Wheat is the most dominant flavor. Gets almost soapy tasting after a bit. It would probably be an adequate beer on a warm summer day after mowing the lawn. arhythmt (69) - Alabama, USA - SEP 28, 2004
Vastly overrated, but I guess it’s indicative of the American hefe style. Murky beer, tastes slightly less wretched with a lemon slice, which should tell you that it’s very citrus-heavy to begin with. I’m not a fan of the American hefeweizens, and this beer does nothing to change that.
