A golden unfiltered wheat beer that is truly cloudy and clearly superb.

12 oz bottle. Sorry, but I’m not getting any wheat on this. Strikes me to be one of the dime a dozen lagers that are all over the place out there (think Yeungling Lager).

Draught at some forgotten bar in New York.
Cloudy orange/yellow beer with an ok white head. Wheat, citrus and some yeast in the aroma. Light wheaty and citrusy flavor. Drinkable but forgetable!

cloudy yellow, lots of fizz. foamy white head with medium last. grassy notes and fizzy mouthfeel. hoppy aftertaste.

Golden, unfiltered with a wheaty aroma. Hints of caramel with mild grapefruit flavors. Some light floral hops and some yeasty tartness, but not enough to make this anything special.

So, cloudy yellow, bit of foam that dissappears quickly. Unfiltered. Something in the smell is wet socks mixed with grass. Hoppy socks. Not good. Mouthfeel is nice, good carbonation, not bad. Taste is banana, but I think slightly too bitter at the finish for the style. Good hops, but just not enough clove for my liking. So, not my pick of the litter for hefeweizen. But not ugly like the smell would have me believe. Not bad, but not my fave.

Lacks flavor. While a lemon will enhance the taste of any hefe, it is a necessity with this one. I am a big fan of hefeweizens but this one is worthless. Too cloudy even for a hefe. If you get it out of a bottle be sure to swirl and still plan on throwing away the last half inch or so in your glass. I have never seen this much yeast settle out of a hefe.

i like wheat beers. but this beer reminded me of an orange soda when it poured out of the bottle. there was barely a head, and the carbonation was very noisy. it had a citrus like subtleness to the taste, but thats about the only taste in this beer. ive had better.

Not a bad American Wheat... though a little too thick and muddy to compete with most Hefeweizens. This is closer to a cream ale or a Smithwicks. Very bitter. Nothing notable about this beer.

Personally any beer that needs a lemon wedge can be poured into the sewer. Take the lemon out and here you have a wheat beer with hardly any flavor and plenty bitter...

Cloudy golden color, small white head. Wheat, malt and slight banana aroma. Citrusy wheat flavor with a bready finish.
