Earthy smell. Wheat? where is the wheat? i did not taste much going on at all. no wheat, or hefe flavors, mainly just a bit of a beefed up AS. ah well what can ya do?

The only real good thing about this beer is the color, which is quite hazy. I didn’t really think it had much of a hefewiezen taste. Just an OK tasting average beer.

Very cloudy yellow appearance with large white head. Very citrus aroma especially when they drop a damn lemon in it. The wheat is pretty obvious. OK wheat beer.

This is a fair hefeweizen. A little watery, but that’s not too bad bad considering it has plenty of wheaty taste. I’d recommend a sample.

[email protected] Castle, San Fransisco. Pretty thin, with no depth of flavour, clove and lemon and not a lot else. This was on tap in so many places up the West coast of the US.

Fairly Strong Citrus taste, IOP adds to a wonderful finish. This is my favorite Widmer. Recomend to try

On tap. Hazy/cloudy orange in color. Citris aromas with hints of yeasts and wheat. Citris, bready tastes.

Bottle from Palm Canyon Liquor, Palm Springs. A vivid yellow/orange with no head. Smells very citric and acidic. Tastes pretty good. Very fruity - less big on yeast, and consequently a little thin tasting. Finishes a little like a Lager - I preferred Pyramid.

beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 11, 2004
Not too bread-tasting, and works well with the lemon. Could be a bit more dense in appearance though, to give it more appeal. Not as much rich head as attributed in the picture.

A great looking wheat beer, my favorite kind of beer, I would buy this anyday. I want to try more of the widmer brothers brews.
