I don’t really understand how this is a hefeweisen. I see its listed as a wheat beer here which makes more sense. Aroma was fairy unimpressive with very little spice. Tastes weird and not what I was expecting. It might be better than I’m rating it is just different from what I’m expecting.
Backlog rating from 2006: Not much aroma. Cloudy white yellow/orange, low head. Fairly bready, yeasty with light apricot. bdleedahl (600) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - OCT 5, 2017
Much better than the super commercialized wheats, but still brewed for the masses instead of being the best it could be. Portland

This stuff is everywhere. Kind of surprised that it hasn't been eaten up by in-bev, with its distribution I thought that Maybe it already had. gripweed57 (2854) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - SEP 6, 2017
From old tasting notes. Immensely cloudy gold color. Dense creamy white head. Yeasty, citrus malt nose. Tart grapefruit wheat malt flavor. Dry finish. Interesting. maupie (1103) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - JUN 24, 2017

Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with minimal white head. Not much lacing. Nose is wheat, banana, and some citrus. Sadly there isn’t much spice. Taste is lemon, banana, orange zest, wheat, and just a hint of pepper. Light bodied with a crisp finish. I have no idea why this is getting bombed here in the ratings; it’s not a knock out but it’s pretty darn drinkable. VKathir (1) - - JUN 8, 2017 does not count
Love wheat beer. Beautiful colour and taste. Goes down really well. Squeeze a bit of lemon and it accentuates the taste.

Very light. Pretty lame. Cardboard like. Tastes like a green bottle beer. Pass.
