Creamy and packs a punch. Enjoyed the low carbonation for this style of beer. BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Black chocolate body with rich, creamy and thick dark chocolate head. Lovely roast barley and chocolate nose, understated, but pleasant. Sweetened hopped chocolate body. jw0406 (1315) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - FEB 24, 2013
12 oz bottle pours a black color with an off white color. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Good DuffMan (10772) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Hearty super-dark brown pour with a light brown crown. Rich roast aroma, coffee and chocolate notes. Hearty roasted malt with a nice sweetness and acidity that keeps this highly drinkable despite it being quite full-bodied. Yum! DavidWoodruff (631) - Windsor, California, USA - FEB 18, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2013 Black with a rocky, coca brown head. It has a decadent, rich mocha aroma. Flavors are of sweet malt and roasted grain and a bit of licorice. Has more of a burnt grain character than most milk/sweet stouts. Would love to try this one on nitrogen.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle from 10/2012 into an English pint glass. Color was a very dark brown to black; small creamy light tan head with good lacing that diminished quicker than expected. Light toasted malt with tones of raisin and flowers. Somewhat sweet initial flavor quickly turning to burned acidic finish, not entirely pleasant. Medium/full bodied with creamy texture, light carbonation.

February 10, 2013 - bottle from AV. Black pour with nice head that lasted and nice lacing. Roasted malt, smoke, lactose and piney hops. Taste was very roasty even ashy, but starts out smooth creamy milky. The finish was a rough piney bitterness that I did not care more. SSSteve (4006) - - FEB 10, 2013
bottle. pours black with a small, stable, creamy brown head. milk chocolate aroma with some toast. creamy, full palate. flavors is not as sweet as i like. it has some milk chocolate notes with some toast, dog food, and way too much foresty hops for the style. i don’t understand the cascade hop addition in a milk stout. its like drowning a filet in steak sauce. 12 oz. can purchased at @ Nikki’s Liquors, Providence, R.I. for $2.59. Stamp says bottled on 12 September 2012. Guinness pint glass shows a black liquid with a quickly disappearing tan head that leaves nothing in its wake. Nose is roasted barley, chocolate and light pine hops. Where is the sweet lactose or sweet sugar? I was expecting roasted malts and coffee sweetness somewhere. It tastes more like a weak Black IPA. Thinner body with a slight pine finish. When I open a sweet stout, that’s what I want to drink. Complete false advertising here. The rating reflects that fact. wlajwl (7211) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Aroma is milk sweetness, roasted malts and a hint of tartness/acidity. The flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, milk sweetness, a hint of fruit and mild acidity in the finish.
