Draft at bull run tap house. Pours black with an inch of khaki foam. A bit of roasted chocolate oh the nose. The chocolate malt notes taste slightly burnt on the tongue. Not getting much of the lactose on the tongue. Eh ! Travlr (25250) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 7, 2013

Pours black with a thick, resilient dark chocolate head. Aroma is creamy, chocolate, coffee, hint of smoke. Flavor is similar; sweet, creamy, chocolate, smoke with a bitter chocolate finish. Some nice dark lacing. Full bodied, creamy, chewy. My favorite element was this subtle smokiness. It took this Sweet Stout in a direction that I was not expecting but very much enjoyed. jkwood04 (5449) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 3, 2013
22oz bottle in an English pint. Pours black with a lacy, light tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of milk, some coffee and chocolate, and some floral hops. Flavor about the same. Smooth texture. A pretty good milk stout.

Pours a jet black with a latte head. Very pretty. A touch of sweetness along with a good hit of roast coffee bitterness. In the end it smooths out though. Lovely beer. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Draft at Brass Tap Trinity. Pours a dark chocolate brown with a thin tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma with a touch of coffee. Pretty good amount of carbonation for a milk stout. Much appreciated bitterness in the finish with only minimal sweetness up front. jake65 (3944) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Bottle: Very dark brown pour, darker tan head. Soft aroma of dark chocolate and roast. Same traits in the taste... silky mouthful. A little espresso. Really smooth and seamless from roast to cocoa. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - DEC 26, 2012
