"I miss the old Widmer winter seasonal, snow plow (kinda sorta a 5% version of this beer). The alcohol makes the body a little more robust but not quite as epically smooth as the old Standby. Milk chocolate and roast abound, though, and for $5, a good deal too." BVery (11491) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 17, 2013

Bomber from Wegman’s. Pours jet black, thick, with a 2-finger frothy dark brown head. Nose is a nice medley of roasted dark malts, cacao, mild dark fruit. Tastes roasty, with big dark malt flavor up front, some cacao, earthy woody notes at mid-palate, and mild hops and figgy fruit late. The mouthfeel on this is dense and complex, with a very smooth finish. This one would pair well with any red meat or chocolate dessert. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Dark brown pour. Creamy tan head. Very light chocolate, lactose, plastic. Flavor is like magic markers mixed with a milk stout. Meh. DuffMan (10930) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Hearty super-dark brown pour with a light brown crown. Rich roast aroma, coffee and chocolate notes. Hearty roasted malt with a nice sweetness and acidity that keeps this highly drinkable despite it being quite full-bodied. Yum! JaBier (8445) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUL 16, 2013
Bottle purchased at Vicker’s Liquors and opened on the fourth of July, this year. Darkest brown in color with a huge tan head. Malty and roasty nose with notes of chocolate and cream. Malty and chocolatey flavor with a creamy lactose character before a bitter coffee finish. Pretty nice. FROTHINGSLOSH (8362) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2014
