12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a dark brown color with a one finger thick tan head. Light lacing. Aroma and flavor is roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Finish is slightly dry and bitter, but smooth and not too astringent. Medium to full body. A real nice beer. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Bottle. Pours black with rich tan head. Aroma of dark roasted grain, dark chocolate. Flavor has same notes with a lightly sweet maltiness, nice light smokiness and finishes bittersweet. Heavy mouth feel with medium carbonation. Overall, good stuff! Very nicely priced!!!! $4.99 for a 22 oz. bpreo (2832) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 17, 2012

Finger and half of dark tan head. Black colored body.
Smell of roasted malt, milk chocolate and toast. Hits the mark.
Smooth taste with a good bite of bitterness. Roasted malt a heavy hitter. Great balance and flavor.
Smooth texture with low carbonation.
An excellent drink. ryanfolty (2538) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - FEB 10, 2013
February 10, 2013 - bottle from AV. Black pour with nice head that lasted and nice lacing. Roasted malt, smoke, lactose and piney hops. Taste was very roasty even ashy, but starts out smooth creamy milky. The finish was a rough piney bitterness that I did not care more.

12 oz single from Roth’s Sunnyslope Market, Salem Oregon.
Black body with a quarter inch sized creamy tan head.
Creamy milk aromas over burnt oat notes..with some treacle thrown in.
Taste is very cream like..with nice dark fruitiness and molasses and slight pipe tobacco..very nice.
Nice feel in the mouth its not as thick as anticipated but still holds together.

Pours a jet black with a latte head. Very pretty. A touch of sweetness along with a good hit of roast coffee bitterness. In the end it smooths out though. Lovely beer. robforbes (2236) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2012

Sweet aroma welcomes your palate that is further enticed by a thick khaki head and black bodied Milk Stout. Maltiness gives way to flavors of coffee, sweet chocolate, and a light bitterness. This is one smooth and very tasty Milk Stout.
