Draft at Brass Tap Trinity. Pours a dark chocolate brown with a thin tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma with a touch of coffee. Pretty good amount of carbonation for a milk stout. Much appreciated bitterness in the finish with only minimal sweetness up front. DedicatedToFun (4003) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Overall I really loved this milk stout, dark and creamy rich and tasteful definitely get again kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body, almost black, with a small fizzy brown head that had pretty decent retention before fading to a thin film. The nose is quite sweet and chocolaty with some roast, light coffee, and maybe a bit of a weird dry roasted peanut like note. Flavor wise, it’s indeed quite sweet up front with a lot of milk chocolate and some coffee. It finishes a bit on the drier side though, with a slightly burnt and acrid malt quality that really lingers. I’m a fan of it not being overly sweet all the way thru, but the finish seems a little off. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. This is drinkable, but not something that I’d seek out and buy again. ryanfolty (2655) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - FEB 10, 2013
February 10, 2013 - bottle from AV. Black pour with nice head that lasted and nice lacing. Roasted malt, smoke, lactose and piney hops. Taste was very roasty even ashy, but starts out smooth creamy milky. The finish was a rough piney bitterness that I did not care more. BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Black chocolate body with rich, creamy and thick dark chocolate head. Lovely roast barley and chocolate nose, understated, but pleasant. Sweetened hopped chocolate body.

Small head quickly disappeared. Dark. Roasted, dark chocolate coffee smell and taste. Nice mouthfeel. Low bitterness, long lasting aftertaste. From bottle dated 9/11/12 had on 12/2/12.

Good beer - an easy drinker. Lacked a big aroma. It had some roasty/marshmallow characteristics, but not a lot. The flavor was roasty, toasty, but need a silkier mouthfeel. It was a solid beer, just wanted more creaminess and something to mellow out the big earthy hops. AirForceHops (8037) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 9, 2013
12 oz. can purchased at @ Nikki’s Liquors, Providence, R.I. for $2.59. Stamp says bottled on 12 September 2012. Guinness pint glass shows a black liquid with a quickly disappearing tan head that leaves nothing in its wake. Nose is roasted barley, chocolate and light pine hops. Where is the sweet lactose or sweet sugar? I was expecting roasted malts and coffee sweetness somewhere. It tastes more like a weak Black IPA. Thinner body with a slight pine finish. When I open a sweet stout, that’s what I want to drink. Complete false advertising here. The rating reflects that fact. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JAN 22, 2013
22. Pours black with a thin, wispy dark tan head. Mild chocolatey sweet nose, kinda smells like Whoppers--malted milk candy. Fairly thin body. Soft carb. Chocolatey, chalky mid-palate with a mild sweet finish.
