marcus (10757) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 24, 2008
This reddish amber ale poured with a modest beige head that dissipated quickly. There is a malty aroma that reflects the substantial caramel malt flavor. There is a dry citrus finish.

Bottle @ home picked up @ Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a dark rust orange appearance with an off white head. Caramel, toasted malty, slightly floral, herbal hoppy aroma. A little chewy malty, light bubblegum, a bit zesty yeasty, caramel flavor. Pretty decent beer.

Clear deep darkish copper with a thin light beige head. Good nose of biscuity caramel. The flavor has this biscuity caramelly nuttiness that’s off dry and toasty and smooth and everything right about marzens. A bit deeper and a bit more "molassesy" than a standard Oktoberfest but I love it.
