a nice sweet substantial in body burnt orange colored brew with a well defined lightly toasted malt and juicy yet mild hop character with gratefully little of the alkaline leafy earthy flavor associated with some Autumn type brews. A bit of caramel and a carbonation that let’s go of a deep burny burp of...good tasting beer! demonstrative and pleasant to my mind and interestingly satisfying with a real beer aroma. someone developed a damn good recipe. Really great Märzen beer that focuses on the malty warm flavor that ends on a sweet note. Drinkable in larger quantities for the many beer festivals. Better on draft than in bottle.

Clear deep darkish copper with a thin light beige head. Good nose of biscuity caramel. The flavor has this biscuity caramelly nuttiness that’s off dry and toasty and smooth and everything right about marzens. A bit deeper and a bit more "molassesy" than a standard Oktoberfest but I love it. Braudog (6719) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - DEC 1, 2002
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2015 Nice caramel color, malt aroma. Classical O-fest flavor. Pretty good. <Numbers adjusted slightly a couple years later ... still a good, meaty o-fest!> nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 15, 2011
The aroma is nothing special but fits the style with paper, grains, and citrus hops. This one maybe has more hops than the style normally has. The appearance is amber wit a medium head. The taste is malt heaven with a citrus hop balance. The palate is smooth. Overall this one is real yummy!

Fresh hop flavor on the nose. Deep amber color with nice lacing against the glass. Hoppy flavor with some caramel, oat and wheat undertones. Full bodied with a well done complexity. Overall, this is a nice, full flavored Oktoberfest brew with lots of hops. I’d give this a B+ rating. Vignale (3837) - Malmö, SWEDEN - SEP 22, 2013
Flaska från SB. Bränstensfärgad, klar, medelhögt skum. Växande maltiga dofter när tempen stiger. Sirapslimpa, karamell, torkad frukt och aningen madeira. Riktigt trevlig. Smaken går i samma stil. Rejäl och hyfsat komplex smak. I princip ingen humle men en lite efterbeska. Känns trogen mot orginalstilen trots att den är överjäst. joeyray700 (15) - motley, Minnesota, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Very good oktoberfest. Sweet, fruity aroma. Nice golden color, but would have liked it to be a bit more redish. Sweet, yeasty taste. Nice clean palate. Overall good, but not outstanding. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - SEP 22, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a nice deep auburn –copper color with a two finger foamy off white head. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time as big bubbles pop within the foam, leaving a tiny level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a heaviest of a roasted malt smell mixed with some caramel notes. Along with these smells are some light aromas of roasted nut, apple, and a bit of spice.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp roasted and slightly bready taste. Upfront there is some caramel sweetness and a little bit of a spice. As the taste advances it temporarily sweetens up a decent sum as flavors of apple join the caramel. Soon the caramel fades as the apple maintains it strength drying out the brew once again. While this occurs the roasted flavors grow stronger and are joined by a light toasted nut taste. With more spice flavors and a light floral taste coming to the tongue at the end, a rather crisp and lightly roasted flavor is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium to lighter side with the carbonation level begins just a tad above normal. Both accentuate the lighter fruit and caramel flavors all while creating a more crisp feel that is very good for the style.
Overall – A rather crisp and enjoyable brew overall with a nice blend of roasted flavors, light sweeter flavors, and spice flavors which overall create an easy drinker.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy white colored bubbles that were and left behind a typically carbonated transparent golden brown orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was candy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium caramel hop aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of velvety smoothness sweet candy caramel and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
