Bottle at Vinno Rosso thanks to Ray. Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A big sweet nose with caramel and fruit, some heat. The flavor is really nice: malt forward, big strawberry, some toffee, caramel, very rich. A bit of heat which is fine. Very good. Reminds me of Uinta BW. 651ml 2013 yellow wax thanks to LtDan! Clear orange pour. Weak foam. Incredible dried apricot nose. Taste is sweet but juicy, big kumquat, spicy chili powder, pulpy mangosteen. Interesting, fruity, very good! Tropical, pithy. freeofthoughts (688) - Raytown, Missouri, USA - DEC 8, 2013
Pours a dark copper burnt orange with an off white lasting head. The aroma is thick barley with a light fruit and hint of hops. The flavor is rich grainy barley with a moderately sweet grainy sugar. There is a bit of earthy bitter but the hop flavor is an afterthought with a light citrus pine. Moderate carbonation fills the beer with a nice sweetening tang. Solid finish with a slight attempt of hop balance with a sweet barley lasting finish. Nice brew overall. NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 28, 2014
2012 bottle. Slightly hazy copper pour with a small off-white head. Aromas of dark fruits, figs, brown sugar, and toffee. The abv is slightly noticeable on the nose. Flavor is warming dark fruits and toffee with notes of caramel. This has aged nicely. Very respectable brew. Sigmund (7539) - Tau, NORWAY - AUG 23, 2014
650 ml bottle, vintage 2013, yellow label and wax, Limited Edition No. 11. ABV is 10.2%. Featuring X-431 hops. At Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Amber colour, large head, slightly off-white. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of caramelized orange marmalade, notes of molasses and some fresh oranges too, hints of oak. Rich flavour, sweet and malty as expected, but not cloying or sickening. Citrus fruit and caramel again, with distinct bittering hops in the finish and aftertaste. Warming mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

65 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Bottled on 18.07.2012.Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - APR 28, 2015
Pours clear copper color with a medium sized head. Pine needles and caramel on the nose, sweetish fruits, resin, the hops have vanished almond completely. Sweet orange and caramel malts on the flavor, some resinous hops, quite faint on the flavor too. Very smooth and quaffable, alcohol dangerously well hidden. Tasty.
Poured from a 22 ounce bomber, vintage is 2012. Hazy brown with thin off white head. Strong alcohol notes, fruity, warming. The maltiness is pleasant, not overly sweet or sugary. There is still plenty of hop character to keep this interesting. I find this to be a nice barley wine. mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 18, 2015
22 oz. bottle, 2013 edition. Pours a slightly murky dark amber with a one finger white head that leaves decent lace. Aroma is heavy with dark fruits, sweet caramel malt and a good dose of booze. Sweet flavor is tempered by a healthy amount of earthy hops and, again, booze. Full bodied. thedm (6187) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 17, 2015
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent light brown orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was musty. The mildly vinous mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild vinous hop aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of mildly vinous dough hops and malt. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. Kavu (4815) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 4, 2015
