Dear lord in heaven. This is nothing but ginger. I can’t pick out anything other then ginger. Carbonation is smooth in a medium body. After 2 oz. I could drink anymore. Over the top ginger kills anything else that maybe in this beer.
This was a draft pour at the brewpub durning the RBSG. Poured amber with a beige head. Nose of ginger and whisky. Medium body. Mouthfeel burns either from the alcohol or ginger, or both. On tap @ Widmer. Amber colored beer with a small khaki head. Sort of a more mild ginger aroma than I expected, but it’s there. More of a sweet caramel, brown sugar, and bourbon profile to it. There is some good spiciness to the flavor. Plenty of bourbon, vanilla, and oak. Plenty of caramel and sweet dark sugars. This would probably be gross without the ginger.

Pour on tap, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of big ginger, lemon, spice, some dark fruit, bourbon, oak, some earth. Taste was a mix of big ginger, grass, dark cocoa, bourbon, whiskey, oak into some spice, finishing sweet, spicy.
