pours a semi-clear light orange with a very thin white head, and no lacing. smell is of wheat, yeast, and slight amount of lemongrass. taste is refreshing, citrus, wheat, slight banana, and some lemongrass. ends a little sticky.

Pale. A vinous, tart nose. Very wine-y, the lemongrass plays a surprisingly small part. Relaxed carbonation. It’s like a sweet wine but with an uplifting tang in the finish. Lighly oily and with a great belly-warmth. A little sweet and a little sickly in a bile kinda way. Probably the most wine-like beer I have ever had.

22 oz. bottle- Pours slightly hazy golden with a thin head that reduces quickly to a thin blanket and ring. Aroma is wheat, very citrusy lemon, fresh and clean. The flavor is wheat, alcohol burn, lemongrass (does lemongrass taste like a cross between lemons and grass?), and I definitely taste the muscat grapes, very interesting and unique, it is a cross between tart and creamy. I have only had one other beer that used wine grapes like this, and that was the vertical 10 from Stone, I think that was better, but this is pretty damn good as well.

Bottle @ 18th R G. Dark yellow golden. Smells sour with apeachy note. Tastes spot, but not in a good way. A little flat with a fruity finish.

Bierkrug (2129) - - FEB 1, 2012
650 ml bottle had in Germany with very much thanks to Travlr for taking his time to bring this all the way from America. Pours cloudy yellow to orange with a very small off-white head. Aroma is a fine mild citrus and wheat maltiness. A very estery fruit and strong citrus flavor. Mellow yeasty and light citric. Bitter and mellow estery palate. A srange beer with a lot of added flavor. This really shoud be a fruit beer.

Fruity apple bubble gum aroma. Hazy golden color with a small white head. Sweet sharp beginning with a light floral bitter finish.

Decent. Pours a beautiful orange color. Smell is a light lemon smell. Taste is very lemony, very sweet and a little bit of sour. Quite a bit of alcohol overtones. Has a little bit of a malt liquor taste. Decent, but won't have again. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

kathouse (1875) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUN 19, 2014
Hazy yellow with little evidence of foam. Lemon and grape are certainly noticeable. Grainy flavors are not blended well. Finish is dry and funky.

Nephilium (1806) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Slightly sweet aroma, with a hint of lemons and grapes. Pours a hazy amber, with a quickly fading white head. Really strong lemon flavor, almost overpowering. with just a hint of grapes in the end. Light on the palate, with a long finish of tart lemons. This beer comes across more like a lemonaid/beer mixture then a straight beer. It’s drinkable, but only if you really like lemons.
