Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very wine-like, mostly of the muscat grapes. Flavor almost like a sweet wine. Mostly muscat grape flavor, maybe a hint of the lemongrass but not much. A little bitterness in the finish.

hazy golden color, aroma of lemon grass, grape juice, flavors of wheat, lemon grass, grapes, yeast, lively carbonation, light body, easy to drink, pretty odd beer AWMiller (512) - Mansfield, Texas, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Quite an interesting wheat ale! I’m digging the combination of lemongrass and muscat grape juice in this brew. Tart and tangy; I have visions of various seafood dishes running through my mind right now!! Don’t ask for recommendations; just buy a bunch of bottles of this brew and come on over for a feast! This is a brew truly made to pair up with some succulent food; by itself it is good but just needs something to go along with it. 22415brewery (379) - Washington, USA - SEP 26, 2011
On tap at the Fremont Oktoberfest, Seattle, WA. Pours a slightly hazy straw colored with microfoam. Aroma is spicy, with tropical notes of lime and well...lemongrass. This was a very very strong beer. Refreshing in mouthfeel however, it finished very dry and was enjoyable. I would like to try this beer again, however due to its unavailability that might not be possible. Slubgob (338) - West Hartford, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Sounded promising but delivery or.Bomber into hefe glass. Drinking while cooking do I didn’t pay ad much mind to details add I could have.mostly turned off by overly sweet palette and low carbonation making for a sticky sense of not really being a light wheat but not sure what it was.was looking for something light crisp and easy drinking, and this wasn’t it.

Beautiful label. Aroma from the neck of wheat, malt, and faint lemon. Pours fairly clear golden with thin white head. Lightly carbonated and smells like candy. Now & Laters? Not much aroma for me. Flavor is interesting. Seems very well balanced with little hint of a 9% ABV. Mild wheat flavor, a little faint lemony tart note, and a shwoosh of salty bittering hops on the finish. Wow! Subtle yet very nice drinker. There is a bit of a wine-like character to this brew, and I think that is carried by the salty & robust mouthfeel If you like wheat beers, this is a must try! Tasted from the bottle @ 56F. PaulUnwin (87) - Pinellas Park, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Aroma floral, grass, citrus, appearance hazy, pale, nice head, tasted medium sweetness, medium bitterness, I would never guess this was 9%. Actually a very nice beer, the lemon grass is there, but too overpowering. Overall a nice beer. braznadian (59) - Washington, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Aroma is a cross between floral and cough drop. The head disipates instantly leaving no trace at all. Amber orange color is hazy with minimal bubbling. Taste is slightly sweettart, with definate grape juice undertones. Slick texture, medium body and soft carbonation linger on the palate for some time. Overall it’s an interesting beer that I would have again. One of the better beers I’ve had from Widmer as they haven’t impressed me much to date.
