Bottle @ Odense Tasting January, 2015. Pours njearly black with a off white head. Cocoa, cookies and raspberries. Dusty and ashy. Medium bodied. A bottle and name that promises much but overall a dull and overpriced experience. culchiem (4098) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2015
Bottle. Brownish black with an off white head. Aroma is fruity roast. Flavour is fruit chocolate, roast and sticky, raspberry only kicks in at the base. RexTalionis (3778) - FINLAND - JAN 10, 2015
Bottle. Pours near black in color with a tan head. Chocolatey cake, fresh coffee and perhaps some hints of them raspberries in aroma. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Dark chocolate, roasted notes, sweet licorice and dark olives in taste. Not much of raspberries at first, later on some more berry feeling appears. Bitter chocolatey and notes of dark syrupy sweetness mixed with little bit of campfire in the end. slongie1979 (4) - - JAN 4, 2015 does not count
Nice raspberry kick, maybe a little too much fruit for my taste but still an enjoyable beer, nice thickness. patricks110 (2548) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 4, 2015
This Imperial Stout falls short for me. Pours a dark, almost completely opaque black with a finger of light tan head. The nose is rich and robust with a heavy roast, light espresso and chocolate accents and a light licorice aroma. From here on this brew is different for me. Fruity and sweet in the mid palate with a tart and syrupy raspberry note. There is an imbalance that I dislike. Too sweet and fruity with a big robust malt and roasted note.

Poured from 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Black (does it actually have a purple hue or am I seeing things from the suggestion?) with tan head. Aroma of chocolate, mild coffee, and raspberries in the background. Taste is raspberry and chocolate, quite tart. Good, but a little bit too novelty-ish. reebtogi (6341) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 21, 2014
650ml bottle pours a deep amber almost black color with a 2 finger light brown head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is raspberries with medium roasted grains and chocolate. Taste is a chocolate malty sweetness with a medium roasted grain and hop bitterness with the raspberries adding some tartness to the mix. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this is an excellent Imperial stout, which I highly recommend to others. Crit (4049) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 16, 2014
Deep brown, lasting tan head.Nose of light roast, tinny notes.Big bitter dry roast profile, vague berries, long bitter finish. Not worth the hefty price GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 16, 2014

>> 2012 bottle, pour clear deep brown with healthy beige foam. Good retention and lacing. Nose is rich raspberry chocolate silk cake. Chocolate frosting. Taste is bit muddled with bitter cocoa powder, dark chocolate shaving, bitter soil. Dustier, earthy finish. However, it isn’t sticky sweet and there are no off flavors besides a touch of paper oxidation.
