22 oz. bottle shared by/with AirForceHops & his friend. Pours dark reddish brown with a small off white head. Aroma is cocoa, nuts and spice. Smooth as silk palate with notes of chocolate, pecans and just a little bit of heat. I was told the bottle was a couple of years old, so the heat from the chilies is probably more intense in a new bottle. None the less, very nice. tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 30, 2014
draft poured a dark brown with off white head. the aroma was of roasted malts and cocoa. medium bodied and full flavored. took me a few sips to figure this one out. cocoa nibs and chilies....you don’t really feel the chilies in the mouthfeel but subtly in the belly afterwards nice and warming...do get some spice mix in it as well...possibly cinnamon. kind of shocked by this one. but very pleasantly surprised and this is pretty darn good. thornecb (5994) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Pours mahogany into a snifter. Tan head with little retention recedes to nothing. Pecan and cocoa aromas. Thick with dark caramel. Thin with dark caramel, pecan and cocoa upfront turning to a warming chili finish. zgaier (1962) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - OCT 26, 2014
Bomber. Pours dark brown with an aroma of chocolate, cinnamon, and spices. Taste is sweet as well, lots of chocolate, cinnamon, spices, vanilla and heat from the chilies into the long finish. Delicious brew sonnycheeba (6214) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 16, 2015
Bottle. Pours dark, cola brown with a trace of beige head. Aroma is chocolate cake, spice, lightly roasted malts, light woodiness, and faint dark fruit notes. Flavor is rich, chocolate flavor with subtle green chili notes along with other spices, and a dry, woody finish. Medium/full body and light carbonation.

From a bottle. Pours opaque tawny brown with a very thin fizzy head. Tastes like like burnt toast, cocoa nibs, vegetable, light spice, cinnamon, roasted malt, and light alcohol. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like cocoa, alcohol, burnt toast, spice, vegetable, roasted malt, and light alcohol. johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2016
Bottle from g-will liquors...loved this beer tons of chocolate...not much on the pepper side....really good beer...loved it! Nuffield (4187) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Wow--this is exciting beer. The chocolate dimension is especially strong, even more so when you look at this beer (it isn’t opaque) and wonder how they got so much chocolate into a beer that doesn’t look like an imperial stout. The chili is subtle--no burn, reasonably handled. Fun and good. (bottle at Ale Jail beer festival, September 2012) rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - OCT 7, 2012
Draft at Fermentation. Pours a transparent deep brown with a small tan head. Nose is dominated by cocoa nibs with roasted malts, pecans with muted spices. Flavor is lots of sweet chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts and more present spices. Quick sweet finish. Pretty tasty. PorterPounder (8183) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - Proof Brewing Company - on tap. Dark brown pour, off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma of licorice and chocolate. Flavor has a nutty profile to it with some chocolate accents and a touch of biscotti-like maltiness. Nice sticky mouthfeel. Pretty solid.
