COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Glen Falconer was passionate about friends, familly, and great IPAs. So in tribute, we’ve created an IPA worth of this master brewer. Made with Falconer’s Flight hops from Hopunion, LLC, a blend named for Glen himself. The result is a bright, moderately bitter IPA with stonefruit aromas and a strong malt backbone. We think Glen would approved. Proceeds from the sale of Falconer’s Flight hops go to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, providing scholarships to professional and aspiring brewers. In addition, Widmer Brothers Brewing is making a donation to grant two additional scholarships. Learn more at www.glenfalconerfoundation.org. Prost! To true hop heads.

Hansen (8545) - Assentoft, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2013
Amber coloured and hazy. Has a white head, mostly diminishing. Heavy hoppy aroma, fruity, kiwi, passionfruit, faint light bread too. Flavor starts mild sweet, then heavy bitter and dry. Soft carbonation.

Bottle 355ml - Clear amber beer with a large white frothy head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, peaches, grass and cereal. Flavor is malty with notes of pine needles, citrus, grapefruit and caramel.

DocLock (10441) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 14, 2013
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid orange toward brownish copper with 1-finger frothy off-white head that dissipates quickly. The head is loud, and says, "Rotate these hops, douche bag." Whatever, head. Nose is bready dullish caramel malt, hops that are citric but don;t really "POP", but are pronounced nonetheless. Tastes caramel malty, somewhat sweet, orange marmaladey, somewhat floral, with a resiny IBU-heavy finish. This one is good, but not elite. The Falconer’s gets a bot overwhelmed by the malt here. In 99% of cases, the converse is true.

podey (637) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Draught at Manchester Pub in NYC. Pours orange amber with medium white head. Light citrus aroma, but not overwhelming. Piney, resin and citrus taste that lingers on the palate long after drinking. Very bright flavors, fairly bitter.

maekchu (3760) - Hirakata, JAPAN - FEB 9, 2013
Bottle from Whole Foods - El Segundo. Substantial citrus, some herbal notes in aroma. Copper color, big carbonation, thick rocky off-white head. Sharp hoppy initial; mid balances out with good malt, also a bit metallic; finish is a punch of sweets and then goes minerally. Medium body. Very pleasant stuff, quite malty. Solid.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice IPA flavors. This is a super beer I love the hops behind this beer. Falconers Hops are fun to taste.

Nice amber-clear with soft, sudsy off-white head. Nice sharp hop aroma. Light bodied, malty with a bit of piney, resiny hop taste.

Tasty, vibrant IPA. Hops and citrus. Not bad. Flavor has more citrus and grapefruit when it’s cold, with a touch of pine when it warms.

Bottle; poured a dirty copper with an off white head. Aroma of chewy caramel, over ripe fruit, earth, and grapefruit. Flavor wasn’t as vibrant as the aroma; a touch watery. Same basic flavor profile. Ok overall.

Pours a deep copper. Nice bit of hop character. Not an overpowering aroma, but pretty good overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
