Glen Falconer was passionate about friends, familly, and great IPAs. So in tribute, we’ve created an IPA worth of this master brewer. Made with Falconer’s Flight hops from Hopunion, LLC, a blend named for Glen himself. The result is a bright, moderately bitter IPA with stonefruit aromas and a strong malt backbone. We think Glen would approved. Proceeds from the sale of Falconer’s Flight hops go to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, providing scholarships to professional and aspiring brewers. In addition, Widmer Brothers Brewing is making a donation to grant two additional scholarships. Learn more at www.glenfalconerfoundation.org. Prost! To true hop heads.

Not the best. Do not intend to buy a six pack, but would try again just to be certain!

Decent IPA, not hoppy or bitter enough for my likes and closer to an APA. But overall decent.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours clear copper with a thick white head. The aroma is grassy, a little astringent. The taste is lightly bitter with a nice grapefruit kick.. medium duration on the bitterness and a slight residual sweetness.

coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Bottle. Poured medium amber with a thick off-white head. Aroma and flavor leaned more toward the malty than hoppy. Quite a lot of caramel and doughy malt; moderate fruitiness; and mild to moderate bitterness, some orange and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel. A very solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with lots of piney hop aroma. Flavor is a nice hop burst highlighted by citrus and pine. Another good rotator series IPA.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Mike. Pours a deep copper color with a medium white head. A light nose of marmalade and biscuit. Very mellow, this might be a little old, but not much: some caramel, biscuit, oranges and lemon. Decent.

Bottle. Darkest of these latest three rotator IPAs ... deep woody-amber. Rocky, gluey head. This has the barest of outdoorsy aromas; it drinks with a rich woodsiness of an English ale, with a little bit of an American hop kiss. Exceptionally well balanced with a big, rich malt backdrop. My kind of IPA. (#4859, 12/16/2012)

Gold, clear, white head. Piney-citrus hops, some grapefruit, a little caramel malt, some toast, some lingering bitterness in finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice hoppy blend with a bit of bitterness going on for an IPA. A puffy, white/beige little head that disappears and thins out as the beer does. An interesting fact about this brew is that it supports charity scholarships, so drink up!

Wittales (762) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Appearance was clear orangish gold with creamy diminishing white 2 finger head, rings of lace. Aromas are pine, citrus fruits and sweet pale, crystal caramel malts. Taste are sweet sublime malts with mild orange, pine, grapefruit, lemon, and melon hops. Yummy. Palate was creamy soft CO2 with meduim body, then lasting slightly bitter, malty sweet clean soft finish. A good rotator IPA from Widmer...
