BF 2013. Deep amber colour with a mediumsized creamy off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity and floral with nectary and honey notes to it as well. Flavour is quite crisp crystal malts along with some toffee along with big time fruity and floral notes and a nice mellow bitterness in the finish. Wellbalanced IPA.
Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Rich salty grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Dominated by salty grapefruit but in a highly positive way. Long bitter finish. Never been a huge fan of Widmer’s, but this one struck a note. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 7, 2013
Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Your typical American biscuity malt aroma with only a rather subtle hoppiness. Medium body, again the solid malt base dominates with the hops adding mainly bitterness. I miss some crispiness here. 070413 Rasmus40 (20922) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 6, 2013

Bottle from Maruhn, Darmstad; marked Nov 20 12 (bottling date?)
Hazy amber color with small head. The aroma is caramel-forward, apparently sweet, with a fruity touch. Strong caramel flavor, with moderate residual sweetness; strong bitterness (although well blended in), with medium-strong resins, and bitter orange fruitiness.
Too caramelly for me, for an IPA, but a good beer overall, although it doesn’t seem very fresh.
