Glen Falconer was passionate about friends, familly, and great IPAs. So in tribute, we’ve created an IPA worth of this master brewer. Made with Falconer’s Flight hops from Hopunion, LLC, a blend named for Glen himself. The result is a bright, moderately bitter IPA with stonefruit aromas and a strong malt backbone. We think Glen would approved. Proceeds from the sale of Falconer’s Flight hops go to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, providing scholarships to professional and aspiring brewers. In addition, Widmer Brothers Brewing is making a donation to grant two additional scholarships. Learn more at www.glenfalconerfoundation.org. Prost! To true hop heads.

beerbill (3616) - Laurel, New York, USA - NOV 13, 2011
12 oz. bottle at the International Great Beer Expo in Uniondale. Pours a clear amber with a moderate tan head. Very pleasant aroma of caramel and malt along with some citrus hops. The flavor is similar with a nice balance of caramel and malt vs. citrus hops. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Very solid IPA.

Bottle. Grassy aroma with a bit of peat; pale golden amber with a faint head. Strong hop flavor with just a bit of bitterness, and a nice malt flavor underneath that. Full, effervescent feel in the mouth. Smooth hoppy aftertaste.

12oz bottle pours deep copper with full tan head. The modest aroma offers up malt sweetened tangelo mixed with pine and spicy hops. The taste is full forward tangelo and grapefruit malt sweetened citrus that rolls into more and more bitterness rimmed with spicy hops and some pine. Supporting the hops in the background is a modest yet persistent malty sweetness. Nice IPA.

VALIS (229) - Nashua, New Hampshire, USA - APR 1, 2013
Nice strong malty, musky scent with hints of grapefruit and orange rind. Very pleasing taste -- strong but not a palate wrecker, well balanced, juicy. Nice mild bitter aftertaste. This one came in under the radar.

Patrickctenchi (6552) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Hazy orange-amber-brown...small tan head. Aroma is caramel, spicy wood. Flavour is caramel...almost a rye taste. Toasty, malty. Really, really nice beer.

Cervesa bastant llupolitzada, però també maltosa. Cerveza bastante lupolizada, pero también maltosa.

kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Apricot color, a hazy hue, pouring with a 2 inch sandy head. Piny cirrhosis hop aroma. The flavor is mellow and deliciously hoppy with a nice malt backbone. Yoyo can’t drink a lot of this one though but it always satisfies the palate. Cheers widmer. I don’t care what anyone says y’all can brew good beers, except for that hefeweizen.

degbert (1772) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Bottle. Pours a rich dark gold with a high, large-grained, white head. Nose is citrus, gooseberry, and herbs. Stone fruit, toast, citrus, and more herbs -- rosemary -- on the tongue, with a crisp, lively feel to it. Finishes clean. Absolutely delicious.

ChazMania (669) - Oceanside, California, USA - NOV 4, 2011
Dang fine beer! Nice piney aroma and pours perfectly clear and wonderfully orange/amber. Taste is solid pine hop with just enough malt sweetness. A nice body and clean finish. This is an excellent beer for 7.99 a 6pack!
