Appearance was clear orangish gold with creamy diminishing white 2 finger head, rings of lace. Aromas are pine, citrus fruits and sweet pale, crystal caramel malts. Taste are sweet sublime malts with mild orange, pine, grapefruit, lemon, and melon hops. Yummy. Palate was creamy soft CO2 with meduim body, then lasting slightly bitter, malty sweet clean soft finish. A good rotator IPA from Widmer... LKay (160) - Maryland, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Not the best. Do not intend to buy a six pack, but would try again just to be certain! fr5ed (62) - Florida, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Good, but not great. Not remarkable, but drinkable. Nice grassy hop aroma, good malt/hop balance. mithe (1781) - Opava & Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 3, 2015

Sampled on 9/26/2011. This IPA pours a medium to deep orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is floral and citrusy, with a touch of melon. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Medium bitterness with a nice hop bite. Decent carbonation. A nice balanced IPA, no big hops, no big malts, just a nice IPA with a nice hop bite. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, but lingering. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 2, 2012

On draft at spacebar. Pours a deep clear deep copper with a white head. Sweet citrus aroma. Orange zest and sweet malts. Not your typical IPA. Very nice. chickenflea (351) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Beer pours a bright copper color, slightly cloudy and a small foamy head. Aroma is right on: caramel malts with apricot, vanillla and bread. A wonderful sticky mouthfeel - lots of body. Moderate carbonation. Sweet like an imperial. Hops like grapefruit. Very bitter finish. This is a bid IPA. Very satisfying. Everything one looks for in an IPA is here. Might be the best Widmer brew I have tried to date.
