I do like a good Pacific IPA and I’ve been looking forward to this one for days. Rich golden amber in colour with a coarse cream coloured head with a greenish tinge. Classic American IPA aromas of spruce, amber malts, redwood bark, grassiness and abundant and fragrant hops. Perfect. The flavour is bang on with the massive astringent hoppy burst I was expecting. This beer is stereotypical and just what I wanted. Glen Falconer should be proud that his beer is interpreted as the classic American IPA half a world away. Gorgeous. Almost perfect nose of a delicious and aromatic IPA / hops, just missed that last percent of deepness. Taste of dry, aromatic and fresh hops, coriander, white pepper, apples, cloves and green plums. Floral and spicy hints. The finish is very dry and quite bitter, but this beer is just so quaffable and nice to drink. A great change which I enjoyed a lot. Once again a wonderful, wonderful IPA full of life, hops and bit citrus. So easy to drink and still with a big hoppy body. Fresh citrus with some vanilla in the back and even some sugar in the end. Very nice. Defreni (3214) - Husum, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2013
Flaske: Orange ravfarvet øl med et stort flot skumhoved. Duften er humlet med en del blomster og en tand citrus, bitter. Smagen er velafbalanceret med en fin bitterhed ovenpå citrus og blomster, god karboneret mundfylde

Tap at 16 Tons during the Rob Widmer event. This is the first beer brewed (at Widmer)by former Walking Man head brewer Jacob Leonard. Light orange pour, slightly cloudy with a white head. Smells of grapefruit, apricots, peaches and biscuit malt. Taste throws a lot of pine in with those same citrus and biscuit notes. A pretty tasty beer, but not nearly enough to convince me that Leonard shouldn’t have stayed at Walking Man. gururyan (727) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 2, 2011
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2012 Less obnoxious than the 114 or whatever the first rotator was, in fact quite good! UPDATE: They brought it back!...first "Rotator" to be rereleased! Even better than I remember it, love it....so glad it’s back! Stock up while you can! verymerrymonk (413) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Pours a clear copper body with a thin white head. Dry, piney hop bitterness with a nice citrus backing. Nice. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - OCT 10, 2011
12 oz. bottle from Total Wine - Pours a clear copper color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. light tiny spotted lacing. Flavor is floral and citrus hops with fruity esters. Aroma is pretty much the same. There is a little malt sweetness lingering in the finish. Medium body. Clean. A very nice Widmer beer. Duhast500 (414) - Cumberland, Rhode Island, USA - OCT 19, 2011
Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Sierra Nevada Pint glass.
The color is a clear copper-amber with a finger of foamy off-white head and some nice lacing left on the glass.
The smell has some nice earthy hoppy aroma with some
The taste is pretty hoppy at first with some earthy notes that hold a good sized bitterness that also a good sized malt presence as well. The hits with a taste of piney hops at the end and makes this comes back to the bitterness.
The feel of this beer is medium bodied and has a nice drinkable feel to a beer that has a good amount of hops. It does have a smooth side and it make this beer surprising in how well this drinks.
