12oz bottle. Pours a light golden with a white head. I’m liking this style and have been seeing it more and more as of late though this is not one of the better ones. That said, it is quite drinkable. Minimal hop aromas with flavors of grapefruit and onion with a bit of a metallic aftertaste. Nothing to go out of your way for but makes for an OK dinner beer. jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, fast-dying white head that leaves a horribly ugly lace. Aroma of metallic hops, some light malt, a hint of earth and some cardboard. Medium-bodied; Assertive malts up front with strong earthy notes, a little caramel and a lot of english and german hop varieties up front. Aftertaste shows a good mixture with a pleasant earthy maltiness, some light caramel sweetness, and a great balance of bitter hops. Overall, a decent beer with some good hop flavours, but the balance doesn’t strike me as right for a lager, and the complexity simply isn’t there to make it sublime - but it is a good beer to sample during the summer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 17-June-2013 for US$8.49/6pack, sampled at home in Washington on 15-July-2013. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 15, 2013
12oz bottle. Small white head atop crystal clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, pine/grass/straw, bread, light lime. Taste is moderately sweet, pine/grapefruit, some bread, lager yeast lemon. Medium body, some acidity, light resin. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Bottle. I’m actually quite a fan of this emerging style... I was excited to try this one. Nose is decently hoppy with some grass elements coming off this one to me and just a little bit of that lager corn smell in there. Taste is much the same, with a hefty amount of bitterness from the hops and a hint of the lagery sweetness at the end. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - JUL 13, 2013
Pours a clear golden amber color with white head. Citrus, malt and hop aroma. Citrus, malt and slight hop flavors. Dry citrus finish.

Poured a light caramel amber color with 4-5 fingers of frothy off-white head. Lots of foam. Very good thick foamy lacing along the sides. Good retention on the top.
Smelled Cascade hops with lime, pine, lemon and some spices coming through. Also lemon juice, lemon zest, soap and floral notes. Not quite as good as it could be though.
Tasted better than the smell, but still not great. Could taste the alcohol immediately, followed by floral hops, Cascade hops, lime, caramel, honey and soapy pine.
Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Bitter refreshing finish.
A bit disappointed when comparing it to their other seasonal IPA’s. Good beer for the summer I suppose.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a clear golden appearance with an off white head. Cat piss, onion, big garlic, very spicy, grapefruity aroma. I’m a bit conflicted with the aroma. Flavor is better with a smooth, dry malty, quite grapefruity, onion, spicy hoppy flavor. Pretty easy to drink. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 12, 2013
Hazy orange with good, creamy white head, decent lacing / Earthy, lightly skunky nose of citrus / Medium body, some sweetness but lots of bitterness with some astringency, no as much fruit as would be desirable / Muted, dull flavors of orange peel, pine, grapefruit / I don’t really see the point of this style. I’d rather have either a lager, or a pale, but not a hybrid. SlamDuncan (15) - Indiana, USA - JUL 11, 2013
This beer tastes like a Belgian wheat and an IPA mixed together. Overall it is a relatively balanced beer but nothing too special. thegreenrooster (4396) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 10, 2013
Pour is a hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is minimal. Some grainy malt and a slight hop. Flavor is a spicy hop to start then comes a bit of dull malts. Definitely a hoppy’er than usual lager but still kinda bland with nothing following up the spicy hop
