Pours a nice clear amber - not much head, but that must be from how the bartender prepared it. Aroma is malty not too hoppy. Flavor is considerably hoppier than the aroma, a little malty and a little fruity. Texture has OK fizz and body, leaving a hoppy finish. Overall, not too shabby. ozarkspops (368) - - JUN 15, 2013
Crystal clear golden pour. Medium off white head. Some lacing. Earthy and grapefruit hop aroma. A champagne like crispness in aroma. Medium to heavy body which was surprising. Decent hop bitterness. Same hops in flavor. An earthiness and grapefruit sweetness. Medium dry finish. Pretty good usually don't like the lager "ipa."

Pours orange with light head and lots of lacing. Nose is peachy. Not much flavour, some cereal and maybe some earthy hops. Light body with medium carbonation. Theydon_Bois (19559) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2013
Tap at Eastburn, PDX, 25/05/13.
Clear light golden with a medium sized off white head.
Nose is light floral hops, orange, citrus, summer fruits.
A nice hop bite in the flavour profile, citrus, orange pith, light pine, juicy hops.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, refreshing finish.
Good stuff - easy drinking and flavoursome although very hoppy for the style attributed to this beer! Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 13, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours gold with white foam. Smells sweet, very fresh, slightly piney. Tastes slightly briney, with hints of pepper.

Pours a yellow golden color with a two finger head that sticks nicely. Aromas are light and very subtle. Crusty bread with a touch of citrus. The palate is bitter from mid to late palate with some bready pilsner type malt backbone thats a bit sweet yeasty esters. Hops come through as straight bitter and nothing special. bhensonb (15251) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Bottle from Malt and Vine. Pours dark gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is very earthy hop. Med body, almost. Flavor is very hoppy - sort of herby/earthy. Dry. Almost astringent. Very drinkable. bb (9311) - Alamo, California, USA - JUN 11, 2013

12 oz. bottle with a bottling date of May 2013: nice and fresh.
A: Pours very clear, dark gold-amber color, with what looks like rather aggressive carbonation. The white head is moderate in size with decent retention and fine lacing. .
S: Grassy and herbal with, I think, some Saaz hops and a good bit of citrus.
T: Sweet bready malt up front, with more complexity and fruitiness than expected. Hints of pineapple, orange, tangerine and lime. Lightly bitter by the finish.
M: Light+ body; acceptably high carbonation; very crisp and clean finish.
O: Certainly one of the best IPLs I’ve tried, but then there haven’t been many. Nonetheless, this easy drinking beer is recommended for those seeking something like an APA or upgrading from macros. kdm1984 (814) - Missouri, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Golden pour with standard head size. Aroma of sweet popcorn malts and pine and citrus. Flavor is somewhat more subdued than I anticipated, but bitterness and sweet popcorn malts still make their way through. Nice mix of IPA and imperial pils - leans a little more toward imperial pils than, say, Mother’s version, which is more like an IPA. Good brew - maybe a tad light for the style, but still mostly fitting and definitely drinkable.
