COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. PROST! To turning convention on its head.

Bottle. Pours a clear light copper body with a one finger frothy white head that left some sticky lacing. The nose is just lightly hoppy with some caramel and toasty maltiness. The flavor is pretty bland and boring with a minimal hop bitterness and a fairly clean caramel malt base. Very short finish with just a light lingering bitterness. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Not all that big of a fan of this one. The malt is just a little too heavy for the amount of hops.

I would be the first to dismiss this beer just because it’s a lager. I bought it on accident..... I have never felt so good about a mistake in my life. This is a fantastic beer. If anything the lagering put the hops farther to the front than in most ipas. The body is very much more ipa like. It’s thicker than a lager normally is. Very good, I would get this again and not just cuz its cheap like with normal lagers.

Clear golden color. Light hop and malt aromas. Some citrus and grass smells. Medium carbonation. Not much of a front taste somewhat flat mouth feel. but the back taste is smooth with floral and citrus notes. Overall this is probably more of a pale ale but it’s a decent beer.

raphael (1256) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 13, 2014
Lemon, pineapple, caramel in aroma. Flavor also lemon, corn, grapefruit rind, white toast but all a little thin. Light & slightly flat in the mouth. Clear yellow with amber tinge, modest white head. Dry, bitter finish.

b3shine (8878) - Indiana, USA - APR 12, 2014
Draft to pint. Looks good for the style; a transparent golden orange with off-white head. Smells solid; a fairly bitter hop profile with notes of lager yeast. Tastes like it smells with a bit of sweetness. Average on the palate. A enjoyable lager.

rougeau13 (3033) - Richmond, Texas, USA - APR 8, 2014
Clear golden with a whitish head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma of citru, caramel, grain, and resin. Taste is thin ipa as expected; somewhat grainy and substantially bitter with mild sweetness. Light medium bodied and dry.

Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 6, 2014
Aroma of orange and resin, some spice way in back. Clear orange like an IPA, but very still. Sweet malty flavor, hop/spice serves only as balance. Really more like your American pale style than anything too hoppy. Flush mellow body. Just alright.
