4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wow, there’s a *lot* of catty, grassy hop aroma coming off this one! Crystal clear medium yellow with a soapy white head. Those hops bite right in immediately on the tongue with more of the same as well as some pine resin and citrus pith. It actually seems like this is a really strong beer, but I think it’s the hops, not the alcohol (at only 6.7%). Even with this, there’s a really good balance here with some light biscuit malt sweetness. A bit of hay and yeast funkiness in the background (although again that might be the hops!). The bitterness lays down and wraps around the tongue like a delicious hop blanket. Bitey right through to the end, there’s a lingering earthiness and honeyed sweetness that makes you want to go back immediately for more. Excellent, tasty and surprising lager.
Bottle pours a partly cloudy gold with a two finger puffy white head and sticky lacing. Aroma is pine and some fruit. Taste is a little fruity, a little lemony, adequate sweetness. Finishes with medium bitterness. Aftertaste lingers. nittanytide (289) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Poured pale gold with a thin, foamy head. Grassy aroma. Taste is grass and grapefruit rind. Interesting hoppy lager. reebtogi (6385) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 25, 2016
355ml bottle pours a clear golden color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is leafy with citrus and caramel. Taste is a caramel malty sweetness with a leafy and citrus hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a nice hop forward IPL that is balanced and tasty. rjplumer (1183) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 15, 2016
Soft citrus and grass aroma. Clear deep golden amber body. A smooth malt fruit combination. Some bitterness. A velvet like finish. onceblind (10583) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 30, 2016
Clear sun kissed orange/gold with a thin white cap. The aroma is quite bitter and grassy with a kiss of lager and orange zest. Crisp and lagerish flavor with plenty of German blonde grains and lager yeast but also with a nice citrusy bitterness. Bright and a little leafy and quite lagerish with a biscuity finish.

Bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Nearly clear medium orange amber color, white head that drops to a cover, strips of lace. Aroma of malt and citrus. Taste is caramel malt and tropical citrus fruit that adds light fizz on the swallow, and drifts from there to a finish that gradually grows more bitter. Decent, easy-drinking, balanced brew. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAR 22, 2016
Bottle from Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors. Nice inviting amber body with medium head. Nose is nice and toasty, of hops aplenty and some spices. Taste is hops up front too and nice and sweet and floral. Sweet honey finish. Quite nicely done. r464 (2370) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2016
Very light, but full and crisp. Punchy with citrus zest and a good bit of hops, but not all that bitter. Very drinkable and refreshing. rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2015
Thanks iNBe. Nicely balanced I’ll say. Grassy herbal hops with biscuity malty sweetness. Serving: Bottle
