Delicious hoppy citrus aroma. Straw colored. Light hop taste with stronger bitter aftertaste. Oversleeping very crisp and refreshing.

Love this beer. It is an excellent example of an American IPA. Full of hops. Heavy grapefruit flavor, noticeable alcohol and a bitter finish.

Smells like an IPA but drinks like a lager. Aroma floral with some yeast/bready qualities maybe a little orange or other citrus lightly present. Appearance is clear golden yellow lacing present throughout with a nice creamy head that stays throughout. Taste is crisp with a slightly salty bitterness that is pine and roasted malts and pepper. Great balance and it finishes peppery but not bitter. Lager like finish with hops everywhere. This is almost a sessionable IPA/IPL from Widmer’s rotator series. Its exceptional medium to light body with good carbonation and a long finish. Its what I expect from the series which has featured amazing others including O’Ryely and Falconers IPA’s. Its a perfect IPA choice for someone who normally doesn’t like IPA’s. 5on1 (22) - Covington, Kentucky, USA - DEC 22, 2014
12oz bottle pour, two finger white foam head. Light golden to amber color. Nice floral smell, very much caramel taste on the start with a crisp, slightly bitter finish. J_man (996) - Tustin, California, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Wow, there’s a *lot* of catty, grassy hop aroma coming off this one! Crystal clear medium yellow with a soapy white head. Those hops bite right in immediately on the tongue with more of the same as well as some pine resin and citrus pith. It actually seems like this is a really strong beer, but I think it’s the hops, not the alcohol (at only 6.7%). Even with this, there’s a really good balance here with some light biscuit malt sweetness. A bit of hay and yeast funkiness in the background (although again that might be the hops!). The bitterness lays down and wraps around the tongue like a delicious hop blanket. Bitey right through to the end, there’s a lingering earthiness and honeyed sweetness that makes you want to go back immediately for more. Excellent, tasty and surprising lager.

Really nice Creamy head! Pours clear yellow with good carbonation. Nice floral aroma. Rich hop flavor that is smooth, somewhat bitter. Nice mouth feel. Great bitter flavor on the back side. A really nice beer! dwyerpg (6061) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 31, 2013
I like this. A great hop flavor and hop bite, I actually like this better than many of their rotator IPAs. It has a nice finish. Pretty simple but taste. Bjshades (156) - Iowa, USA - JUN 15, 2013

Okay, my friend tricked me. I'm expecting an IPA, and I got this beer. Damn, I like it. Flavorful, yet light. Another good and interesting Widmer.
If you're looking for a tasty ale in the summer heat, try this IPL.
