UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 12 oz Bottle. The beer pours to a light amber color with a small white head. The aroma has some resin & rye spicy smells to it. The taste is light in body with a medium bitterness to it. Overall a good Rye IPA. scarletfire65 (1466) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Bottle at home. Deep amber pour. The nose is roasty, caramel, bitter medicinal herbs, black rubber, rye, spice. Fuller bodied and chewy mouthfeel. Bitter throughout. Tastes of medicinal herbs (senna). It’s out of the box, but not entirely successful. williamstome (1875) - Somerville, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 9, 2013
Very dark brown pour, medium foamy white pour. Spicy rye hop aroma. Fresh hop aroma, but a little weak, especially in the finish, which is bitter but weak. Thin. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - SEP 28, 2013
28 sept 2013, bottle. Yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. Nose is soft grapefruit rind hops. Thin almost med body and moderately fizzy. Pleasantly balanced ipa. Grapefruit rind citrus but not very powerful, cereal malt background but not too sweet. Nice.

12 oucne bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. This poured clear amber and had some beige foam. A musty aroma of hops with biscuits. The flavor is more pronounced. It is a classic west coast IPA with rye. Was this wet hopped? Maybe so. Rye and floral. A biting bitterness makes for a flavorful beer. The hops taste green and fresh. Caramel comes in late with the biscuits.

This was shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Poured amber with a big bubbled olff-white head and very sticky lacing. Nose shows rye. Medium in body. Flavor is rye, citrus and floral hops. More flavor than aroma. Mild bitter finish. Very easy drinking. Quite nice. AndyW68 (1542) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Copper with a light haze and white head. Sweet candy and floral nose. Taste is sweet floral and light caramel. Good not great. MrBunn (2826) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Bottle. Body is a clear coppery color with with a smallish head and aromas of Cascade (or something real close in my book), caramel and rye. Flavor is lemon and cat pee with some caramel and light brown sugar and a little rye tang in the finish. commonmac (1246) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Bottle purchased at Four Firkins consumed at Jackpot Junction. Medium orange color with crisp head and related lacing. Aromatic hops on the nose leading into a unique rye malt and hoppy flavor. Slightly bitter and not entirely balanced profile. A pretty good effort on an IPA twist. Lingering slightly unpleasant aftertaste prevents this one from a higher score. As Widmer offerings go, this is better than average. Maverick34 (3239) - New York, USA - AUG 6, 2013
Bottled. Medium orange pour. White head. Rye and floral hops and some malt to balance it out. Pretty good.
