Pours a clear dark golden color. Smells of hops and some cauliflower. Taste has a bit of sweetness. Caramel with some carrots and a bit of hops to round it off. Good.

Appearance was clear copper gold with creamy lasting huge 3 finger white head, lacing. Aromas where sweet malt with loads of spice ie. pepper, ginger , cloves with soft citrusy hops breaking in too , no alcohol present. Taste was lemony hops, spicey clove ginger with anise or cinnamon.Solid mild malts backbone. Palate was smooth creamy carbonation with medium body and average length spicey hoppy caulky finish. Different, I like it...

Consolidated reviews of a whole bunch of 12oz bottles. Pours golden amber, whitish head. Aroma varies - some tea, some spices, some pepper, some hops. Taste is hops modified by some of the above. Finish is smooth. Very interesting beer, not among the normal IPA range and definitely tasty. One of the better spiced beers I’ve had, but just isn’t my thing. Would probably be a good "crossover" beer.

Bottle. The different spices make for a very confusing flavor. Mild bitterness and thin body. Aftertaste is oily and hoppy.

Ohhhh, yeah, it is spiced, and sure, it is an IPA...but FAIL everything else. Hop on the first taste which fades into mud. Total FUBAR of flavor. No, really, I reserve that title for the rare beer that deserves it. The flavors are just in a big huge muddy ball of blah....and taste like the hops rotted. avoid.

Gold, clear, white head. Aroma: strong ginger and earthy/musty notes dominate, followed by citrusy hops. Flavor is less dominated by spice (but ginger pretty evident), allowing IPA base style to come through more, featuring citrusy and lightly resiny hops, grainy malt with some crystal malt and toasty notes. The balance of this beer as between the spice and base style improves as it warms, with the two working well together. Very interesting beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours reddish gold with white head and nice lacing. Aroma is hoppy with tones of clove and anise. The taste is complex, but alittle unpleasant with funky bitter aftertaste. Good to try, but not something I would go back to.

Not too great, more like a beer tea, would like some of the older rotators to come back.

from notes: pours copper with some slight hazziness and a slightly off white head. the aroma is banana, cloves, banana bread, pumpkin spice. the taste is pumpkin spice. slight banana clove, not very biter and the alcohol is very hidden. fruity but not sweet. this is a very good beer!!
