Poured into a shaker glass from the 12oz bottle. Pours a clear copper color, clear with a thin white head and light lacing. Aroma is a pleasant floral hop, and citrus. The flavour is very nice. Hop bitterness dominates, with citrus, and spices blending well. The mouth feel is slightly watery, and finishes moderately dry. Outbreak this is a very nice IPA! Its not just bitter to be bitter, there is more complexity to it and I like that.

Pour to shaker glass from 12 oz bottle. Very nice head. Aroma citrusy. Good mouthfeel. I liked the good balance of hops and malt. Great finish. I would definitely get this again.

Comes out of the tap a clear, slightly dark amber with a thick off-white head that leaves some substantial lacing. Strong, hoppy aroma has an undertone of sour orange and grapefruit. Hoppy flavor has a nice balance of bitterness and fruity sweetness with an undertone of grapefruit and orange and just a whisper of honey. Edgy, strongly tingly mouthfeel leaves behind a lasting hoppy fizz.

Nice IPA, plenty of all the regular notes here. Not really breaking any ground here, but a fine beer.

Appearance: Pours a translucent amber gold with a head that subsides to about 1/8 inch of off white foam.

Aroma: A big burst of grapefruit and orange zest along side some noticeable floral notes.

Taste: Danky citrus, slightly sweet malt alongside fairly dry pale malt, finishes bitter. The bitterness doesn’t linger, but invites you back for another sip.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation that takes a backseat to the bitterness.

Overall: Above average, fresh, smells great, looks great.

Light amber, great head. Hops are extremely powerful with pineapple aroma. Taste has a good dose of bitterness with some spices mixed in. Finish is a bit sappy and bitter. It’s a really good IPA.

This brew pours a dark gold, lighter than most IPAs that I have come across. The head is nice and frothy. Lacing sticks to the glass. The aroma is biscuity. Taste is bitter and finish is clean and mellow. Very nice IPA that is not over the top with hoppiness.

On tap at Widmer - Light color for an IPA. Spicy hoppy aroma and flavor. This is a very nice IPA. I’ll be interested to see if this one makes it out of the Gasthaus.
