on tap at widmer gasthaus. browny amber, faint smokiness in the aroma, overwhelmed by treacle. tasted of porridge and brown sugar. a bit on the thin side, not a style i can get too excited about anyway

Amber color with sticky lacing & head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with some caramel & fruit. The flavor is mild with a touch of hops but rather unimpressive. Finishes tangy.

Brewed for the Spring Beer and Wine Fest 2004. Dark in color, with a small head. Aroma is bitter and a little coffee. Taste is bitter with very little sweetness. Maybe a little grainy. An ok beer, maybe worth another try.
