This was the first sweet stout I had ever tasted, and the combination just didn’t seem to go in beer. I might need to try this one again or some other sweet and milk stouts, but for right now I did not find much pleasure in this beer. It looked and smelled ok, but the flavor and mouthfeel did me in. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 11, 2004
Dark brown, small dark tan head. Very bitter and almost sickly sweet with a milky flavor, some milk and coffee and amaretto... even vanilla. but not really that pleasent of a combination. Has a nice hop bite mid-drink. Average to below average sweet stout. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUL 29, 2004

Transparent black, crimson hue, light sticky head & some moderate lacing. The aroma is creamy with some oatmeal & roast. The flavor is fruity with some light creamy spice. Very dry finish though but has good flavors.
(RBSG04) Tan head atop red-black body. Aroma is sweet, strong coffee, some chocolate. Taste is moderately sweet, chococoffee, roasty, light earthy. Medium body. Nice sweet stout.
